What's Your Favorite JJ Abrams Series?

Tonight's premiere of Fringe got me thinking about creator/executive producer JJ Abrams and his pretty stellar track record on television.

In the past decade, Abrams has created or co-created four shows (Felicity, Alias, Lost, and now Fringe) and executive-produced two others (Six Degrees and What About Brian). Many of those shows had ratings success and/or significant buzz, and all of them (well, except maybe Six Degrees) had vocal fan followings. While we wait to see how Fringe will stack up, which is your favorite of Abrams's series so far?

Zoe Saldana on Her Style Guru, Not Being a "Pink Girl", and More at the Cosmo Latinas Launch

With her supporting family in tow, Zoe Saldana celebrated her cover on the first issue of Cosmopolitan Latinas last night at the Press Lounge in NYC looking gorgeous in a frothy mauve Elie Saab Couture dress, Bottega Veneta clutch, Brian Atwood pumps, and Irit Design jewels. Between her infectious smile and down-to-earth personality, it was hard not to fall in love with the beautiful actress. At the event, the actress let us in on her style secrets, not being a "pink girl," and why she loves being in her 30s:

On where her style comes from: "My stylist Petra Flannery, she is my must have. I work so hard and I am nonstop that sometimes taking time to think about what I am going to wear is overwhelming. She is one of my closest friends and her taste is exquisite. I literally just show up at her door and if I have time, I love just staying with her one entire afternoon and see what I've been missing, like all of the collections in Paris, New York, or London. Petra Flannery is my go-to, my must."
On her organic style process: "I will say no to certain things; I am not a pink girl. This [dress] took years for Petra to get me to wear - feminine, pretty colors, and pastel. I always want things to be hard and poignant and sometimes, you need these things because they mellow you out, you know? They really help you feel so great."
On three words that describe her style: "Unexpected, emotional, and weather-oriented."

Season two of Happy Endings has been so much fun that we're sad that the season finale is tonight. However, we were thrilled to hear about who's making a guest appearance from star Eliza Coupe: original Beverly Hills, 90210 cast member Brian Austin Green (who didn't love David Silver?)! He'll be attending Derrick's wedding along with the rest of the Happy Endings crew. Get to Know This Year's Best Cookbooks

The International Association of Culinary Professionals (IACP) are gathered in New York for their annual week-long conference. Last night, ceremony emcee (and Cooking Channel's Food(ography) host) Mo Rocca announced which finalists took home the top nod of best cookbooks of 2012.

Among the winners: Nathan Myhrvold's standout Modernist Cuisine, New Yorker writer Adam Gopnik's essay on eating, The Table Comes First, and New Orleans chef John Besh's My Family Table for the category of Children, Youth, and Family. Perhaps most notable? The fact that an Indian cookbook (Tasting India by Christine Manfield) took home the award of Cookbook of the Year - a signal that American home cooks are finally ready to tackle the lesser-known frontier of Indian cuisine.

Brian Atwood's chic shoes have been spotted on a bevy of stars, like Sarah Jessica Parker, Michelle Trachtenberg, and, most recently, Jennifer Lawrence at the Hunger Games premiere, to name a few, so we're predicting that his gorgeous new handbag line, only available at Gilt.com, will garner an equally star-studded crowd. Last night, Gilt hosted a beautiful event at The Standard hotel in NYC to celebrate Brian Atwood's new collection, and not only did we get to check out the gorgeous clutch collection in person, but we also got up close and personal with the designer himself and chatted about his new line, his most memorable red-carpet moments, and his best friend, and Oscar nominee, Melissa McCarthy. Read below for all of his fun anecdotes.

FabSugar: What was the inspiration behind your beautiful new handbag collection?
Brian Atwood: It was about being surrounded by amazing women, seeing what their needs were. It was about taking that DNA and excitement from what I put into my shoes into a bag and thinking what would that bag look like, how do we make it cool, gorgeous, and showstopping? It's only the beginning, I'm having so much fun.

FS: What are some of your most memorable red-carpet moments?
BA: The first red carpet I had was with Debra Messing at the 2002 SAG Awards. I had no idea, I think she bought them, and someone told me she was wearing my shoes. That's when you really understand the power of the red carpet; it was pretty amazing. Cameron Diaz also wore [my shoes] at the Oscars with a dress which was short in front and long in back. I thought that was perfect. And now we have the shoe cam, I love the shoe cam!

Eliza Coupe Talks About Getting R-Rated on Happy Endings and Her 90210 Guest Star

Eliza Coupe is part of one of TV's funniest ensembles on Happy Endings, and when I recently chatted with the actress, I found that she's just as hilarious as her character, Jane. Coupe dished about the hijinks we can expect from the rest of the season, but she also she talked about the Happy Endings footage we may never see: the blooper reel. Coupe told me why it might not be suitable for the public, and she also confessed which of her crushes will make a guest appearance on the show.

BuzzSugar: Which of your costars make you crack up during scenes?
Eliza Coupe: Almost all of them. Honestly, all of them, they all do. If we have a scene with all of us, it's ridiculous. But of course Damon [Wayans Jr.] and I . . . they showed a gag reel at our wrap party a week and a half ago and it was edited down to two hours and nine minutes, and honestly the whole thing was Damon and I, because we completely break all the time with each other. And we do it purposely. We're horrible. The crew after a while is like, "OK, OK, alright, everybody."

Buzz: How does one get their hands on this gag reel?
EC: I know, it's so good! It's totally R-rated though. Damon and I use every single bad word that's been invented, or we invent it ourselves.

Buzz: I hope it's on the DVD.
EC: I know! I hope so too. I wish they would just release it. I think it would be such a cool thing to have it released, but I feel like there would be some serious bans on it though. It would be taken off the Internet, it's so dirty. It is so dirty.

Buzz: How dirty?
EC: Well in Happy Endings, we shoot pretty much everything X-rated, R-rated, NC-17, whatever you want to call it, and then they trim it down to make it suitable for network television.

Reasons to Not Eat So Much Red Meat

A strict vegetarian or vegan lifestyle isn't for everyone, but we can all benefit from eating less red meat. What's so bad about a few burgers, steaks, and bacon breakfasts, you ask? A lot, actually. Read on to find out why you shouldn't eat so much red meat.

You'll live longer: The number one reason to limit your red meat intake - you'll live longer. Studies have shown that regularly eating red and processed meats increases your risk of developing heart disease and cancer, in part because of the high saturated fat and cholesterol content. The newest study, released this week in the Archives of Internal Medicine, is the first to link the amount of red meat you eat to your actual risk of death. It found that replacing just one red meat dish a day with a healthier protein choice like fish, legumes, or poultry reduces your risk of dying early by seven to 19 percent.
