Javier and Penelope Bring Their Vicky Cristina to NYC

The cast of Vicky Cristina Barcelona hit NYC last night, missing a few stars but still showing off the steaminess that makes the movie so hotly anticipated. Scarlett didn't join the group, maybe because she's sick of answering questions about Barack Obama or her fiance Ryan. Her costar Patricia Clarkson brought a little va-va-voom, but even Woody skipped the red carpet in his home town. Even though Javier and Penelope once again stayed away from each other on the red carpet, we all know who they're both sneaking away with at the end of the night.

Vicky Cristina Barcelona and Its Stars Look Smoking Hot

The steamy stars of Vicky Cristina Barcelona did not disappoint, bringing a little bit of glamor to Hollywood last night for its big red carpet premiere. It's hard to say which of the lovely ladies looked most spectacular between Penelope in black, Salma in white, and Scarlett very much living up to her name. Night and day from her Teen Choice dress, but boo on no Ryan Reynolds again. Javier, sigh, so hot, enough said. Woody was there to stand with his exceptionally beautiful cast. At a press conference over the weekend he talked about the movie's hot scenes, saying, "They just kiss and kiss and kiss . . . And then when it's over, that's it. Lunch! And there you go. They're actors. There's nothing to it. They're kissing for a couple minutes, there, and I watch, and then it's over. And we move on to the next thing." Something tells me the viewers won't be so nonchalant watching all those scenes up on the big screen.

Pretty Penelope Promotes While Scarlett Pouts

Penelope Cruz looked stunning promoting Vicky Cristina Barcelona in Cannes Saturday, but there were two very noticeable no shows - her costars Scarlett Johansson and Javier Bardem. While Javier, who recently dropped out of a movie due to exhaustion, apparently skipped the event for family reasons, Scarlett's excuse is more dramatic. Apparently the starlet didn't come after the studio refused to fulfill her demands including her own make-up consultant and a separate hotel away from where the rest of her costars were staying. With her album coming out this week, maybe she's just too busy to make the trek, but hopefully all these gorgeous costars can meet up for at least one red carpet to promote their sexy new movie. Ryan & Scarlett's Buffet-licious (Romantic?) Lunch

What is this! Ryan Reynolds visiting Scarlett on the set of hew new Woody Allen movie? Partaking in the on set lunch buffet? Intrigue! The two gorgeous actors were rumored to be seeing each other a while back during that complicated LoveSquare mess, but we've never actually seen them together until now. Obviously, this all could be nothing, I mean, I read that quote from Ryan about this very phenomenon. That being said, now that I see these two together it kinda works. At the very least, there's no harm in them hanging out being ridiculously good looking together.

Celebrity Gadget: Scarlett Johansson's Leica M8 Camera

When Molly noticed Scarlett Johansson has been working both in front and behind the camera for an untitled Woody Allen movie in Barcelona, I wondered what kind of camera the starlet has been using.

My investigation team - made up of camera geek YumSugar and myself - concluded that it must be the uber chic Leica M8.

The model, which is a digital version of the company's famous M camera, was recently released in Europe and is sold in silver and black. It is known for using the analog Leica M system for sophisticated and creative digital photography and features a low-noise CCD image sensor with a resolution of 10.3 megapixels that has been specifically matched to the compact lens design.

Clearly, professional cameras come with a hefty price tag. This one costs $4,795 on Amazon.
