You ready for this? The star-packed Valentine's Day — which hasn't even hit theaters yet — is reportedly getting a sequel. The new installment will be based around New Year's Eve instead, with an ensemble of characters celebrating the big day in the setting of New York City.

Remember Garry Marshall? Director of some beloved flicks like Pretty Woman and Beaches (and some others like Runaway Bride and Raising Helen)? Regardless of the fact that his last directorial project was that Lindsay Lohan thing, Georgia Rule, he's still one of the bigger directors in this genre.

By now you've probably seen the myriad on-set shots for the upcoming ensemble romantic comedy Valentine's Day. Oh and by "ensemble", I mean the most star-studded cast to hit Hollywood in years.
This movie has (take a deep breath with me) Jessica Alba, Jessica Biel, Jamie Foxx, Bradley Cooper, Julia Roberts, Anne Hathaway, Emma Roberts, Jennifer Garner, Eric Dane, Patrick Dempsey, Topher Grace, Shirley Maclaine, Ashton Kutcher, Taylor Lautner, and Taylor Swift.

Just after the box office success of He's Just Not That Into You around Valentine's Day this year, Garry Marshall announced that he's working on a similar movie — intersecting love lives of a whole slew of people, this time set in LA — to open Valentine's Day weekend next year. The title? Valentine's Day.

Valentine's Day is just around the corner, which means we're in the season of candy, flowers, and mushy movies. The star-studded film homage to the holiday got me thinking about other couples I'd like to see in romantic comedies — namely, actors we've never seen paired together or faces that don't usually turn up in the genre. Check out my list and submit your own in my movie lists community group!

I couldn't help but let out a groan yesterday when I heard the news that Lionsgate is in the process of adapting pregnancy guide What to Expect When You're Expecting into a romantic comedy. The film will follow seven couples as they prep for parenthood, and I'm willing to bet the the majority of those onscreen parents-to-be will be big budget actors.
It's no secret that the ensemble romantic comedy is getting more popular every year — we had He's Just Not That Into You, and Valentine's Day will hit theaters in a few weeks.

Sounds like Bradley Cooper is riding the Valentine's Day movie right into another romantic comedy. He's attached to star opposite Reese Witherspoon in This Means War, a rom-com about a pair of best friends who fall for the same woman. Witherspoon will be the point of the love triangle, and apparently the battle for her affections gets so out of hand that it leaves New York City in ruins.
