There's a whole crop of series (both old and new) that are coming your way, and BuzzSugar editors Becky Kirsch and Shannon Vestal are breaking down the five must-see shows to get you through the Summer. Meet the New True Blood Characters

True Blood is returning on June 10, but before jumping back into Bon Temps's blood and lust, we're introducing you to the new characters. The Vampire Authority will be getting the spotlight this season, so there are several important members to get acquainted with, along with one human we briefly met in season four. Check out the new characters who are coming to True Blood's new season.

Watch the Bloody Preview For True Blood Season 5

We've gotten an idea of True Blood season five from the recent pictures, but this new promo is far more enlightening, especially when it comes to new characters like Christopher Meloni's vampire authority, Roman. Apparently he'll go head to head with Bill, Sookie may be finally getting it on with Alcide, and, um, is that Pam in bed with Eric? There are also lots of blood spurts, vampire bites, and as usual, plenty of sexiness.

All I can say is: bring it on. Hopefully the new characters and story line will reinvigorate the show, which felt a little lacking to me last season. Watch the promo and get excited for the series to return on June 10 after the jump.

True Blood season five premieres on June 10, and before we're reunited in Bon Temps with Sookie, Lafayette and the Southern vampire faction, you can get a sneak peek at some brand-new photos. As usual, Eric and Alcide are looking hot while Sookie's looking spooked, and the pictures also introduce us to the new cast members, like Christopher Meloni and Scott Foley, whom we met briefly in the season four finale. Check them all out!

Get Your First Look at True Blood Season 5

Game of Thrones only just returned to HBO, but the network is already looking forward to a new season of another anticipated series: True Blood. With the Summer premiere just a few months away, we now have our first footage from season five, and it looks like the usual hijinks are on the menu. The first promo features clips cut together, where we see fangs, kissing, and naturally, some shirts getting ripped off. Check it out and tell us what you think:

We are so excited that the first installment of Suzanne Collins's trilogy The Hunger Games hits the big screen today. The gripping series follows 16-year-old Katniss Everdeen in a postapocalyptic world, where she must fight for her own survival and the survival of the ones she loves. And while the action-packed plot keeps you on your toes, it's the will-they-or-won't-they love triangle between Katniss, Peeta, and Gale that really kept us turning pages. Even the actress who plays the girl caught in the middle, Jennifer Lawrence, told Seventeen Magazine she had a hard time picking a favorite: "I think I was [team] Gale until he started getting a little too trigger-happy. Or maybe first Peeta and then Gale or Gale, then Peeta? I went back and forth. I flip-flopped."

It seems some of the best stories on screen center around the complications of choosing between two love interests, from classic films, to '90s TV shows, to huge franchises like Twilight and Harry Potter. True Blood's fifth season isn't starting until this Summer, but if you want a hint about what's coming up, just watch the first teaser below. While there's no footage, there is an important message about things not staying buried forever. That can only reference Russell Edgington, who was tucked into a cement bed at the end of the third season, but in the fourth season finale, his grave makes a busted-up appearance.
