90210 Fans Past and Present: Excited For Donna's Return?

Tonight's episode of 90210 marks the return of Donna Martin to the famous Zip code.

The preview clips for "Okaeri, Donna!" reminded me that Tori Spelling was no wallflower while portraying the sidekick to Kelly (Jennie Garth) and Brenda (Shannen Doherty) in the old-school 90210. Over time, she gave this character an almost goofy, comedic slant.

From what I've seen of this episode so far, it looks like Donna is still the same lovable airhead fans came to expect. But I'm wondering: Is Donna's return a welcome one? Or not so much? And will it get you watching tonight?

First Look: Tori Spelling and Diablo Cody on 90210

This coming Tuesday's episode of 90210 has not just one but two very special guest stars: Tori Spelling makes her return as Donna Martin, and Diablo Cody's one of the sparks that brings her back to Beverly Hills.

How's that? Well, apparently Cody - playing herself - has hired Donna to design her dress for some premiere, and Donna's taken it upon herself to style her for the event, too. Silver, naturally, is in awe of her sister's BFF meeting the woman who wrote "teenage mommy girl" ("I have been reading her blog for years! She's my idol!"), but Kelly's too nervous to let her go to the premiere.

Back in January, Cody was pretty psyched to learn she'd be working with Spelling, and in retrospect she's not exactly thrilled with her performance, which - is this bad? - just makes me more curious to see the whole episode. But for now, you can see a couple of clips if you read more.

The Office has been given the key post-Super Bowl time slot and will air a one-hour episode following the game, Entertainment Weekly reports.
According to ComingSoon, Steve Buscemi and Romany Malco will star together in Saint John of Las Vegas, a loose adaptation of Dante's Inferno.
Tori Spelling has no deal to appear on 90210 and her desired salary may be the sticking point, E! reports.

Are You Excited for the New 90210?

It's official: The 90210 spinoff - now known as simply 90210 - will be on our TVs this Fall. Jennie Garth is absolutely on board to reprise her role as Kelly Taylor, now a Beverly Hills High guidance counselor, confirming some buzz we heard a while back. And there are still rumors that Tori Spelling could join the show as well.

The news about this spinoff has been coming fast and furious from the moment it was announced, so now that we know so much about a show that hasn't aired even a single episode, I have to ask: Are you excited for 90210? Or are you sick of it already?
