Which Reality Show Would You Want to Tour?

For a mere $95, you can take the New Jersey Housewives tour and visit all the hot spots featured in The Real Housewives of New Jersey, including a four-course lunch at The Brownstone and a shopping trip at Posche. Sold? No? Well, if following in the NJ housewives' stiletto-prints isn't your thing, is there another reality show "world" you'd like to tour?

I'm thinking reality show tours should take it a step further and actually allow participants to tour the action while it's happening. Right? Maybe have a one-way mirror for touring guests to view the Kardashians' TMI moments, Jersey Shore brawls, and housewives' freak-outs firsthand. Whether it was a tour of the cast's favorite spots or their actual lives, which reality TV show would top your must-visit list?

What Did You Think of Real Housewives of NJ, Season Two?

The Real Housewives of New Jersey's second season came to an end this week, as part two of the reunion aired Monday night. The big surprise was the group hug that sent off the Garden State's leading ladies - or so I thought. The real end of the chapter is today's revelation that troublemaker Danielle Staub won't be coming back to the show.

Season two had less spark than the first (in which we were introduced to the incomparable term "prostitution whore") and relied on Danielle's drama-stirring shtick for any sort of story arc. I suppose this would be the time to wonder what a season of the reality series would be like without the fearsome fifty-something, but instead I think we should focus on the season that just went down. We lost Dina, witnessed hair-pulling, and heard plenty of insults, but that sort of excitement was sandwiched between snore-inducing episodes of an extended Italian vacation, christenings, and marinara-making.

Housewife Teresa's Stuff to Get Auctioned - Pick Your Favorite!

The Real Housewives franchise started as a look into the lives of the rich and famous. But with the economy still in the dumps, the housewives' upper-class shine has dulled. New Jersey cast member and "skinny Italian" Teresa Giudice - who famously thinks it's gross to live in a house not built from scratch - has filed for bankruptcy in hopes for a "clean start." Soon her personal items might go up for auction. Things just got a little more real.

The show gives us a (scripted?) peek into their over-the-top lives, but the auction list from Teresa and husband Joe's bankruptcy case provides a less-produced look. We have the expected chandeliers, at least three of them, but also the curious suit of armor. Below check out some of the more random Giudice possessions you can bid on if the auction, currently set for Aug. 22, goes forward. Which would you try for?

Real Housewife Caroline Manzo Drops 20 Pounds

Real Housewives of New Jersey star Caroline Manzo is proving that you can still enjoy Italian food and lose weight in the process. The reality star showed up to the premiere of Grown Ups in a pair of skinny jeans, showing off her new figure and 20-pound weight loss. Caroline told People that her secret to losing weight has been eating less and keeping things lighter as the day goes on.

"I eat what I want. I just eat the bad things earlier on in the day . . . If I want pasta, I have it for lunch instead of for dinner. That’s all. If I want a piece of cheesecake, I have half instead of a whole."

Besides practicing portion control, Caroline has been spending time on the treadmill - at least least three times a week for 45 minutes. Caroline, 49, started to make these lifestyle changes in March because she was concerned with potential health issues.

When I was married, I was 92 lbs. I'm tiny. I’m only 5'1". And once I hit 40, I always say the wheels fell off. Now, I'll be 49 in August, so it's the time. Now I really have to start thinking about [my weight] because the metabolism is slowing down. And health issues could start kicking in now. So I just want to be aware of my body and start taking really good care of it."

There is nothing like curling up in the bed after a hot shower and after my princess and my babe have drifted to sleep. It's just me and my shows! My favorite Monday night show is The Real Housewives of New Jersey!

This show is the epitome of reality TV! There is never a dull week with these ladies. There is all the drama, comedy and bitchiness you could ever want in a television show. There is something about watching these shows that draws people in. It's probably the fact that watching people live lavish lifestyles that we would want mixed with watching these same people go through their own personal drama makes it easier to escape our own reality.

Whatever the reason is, I enjoy it and Kudos to Bravo for coming up with this Housewife monopoly of reality shows! Anyone who doesn't watch this show is truly missing out!

Do You Call Out People When They Use Slurs?

Last night on The Real Housewives of New Jersey, otherwise out-of-touch characters had a relatively relatable moment. When outcast Danielle failed to rebuke her friend for using the slur "faggot," the rest of the housewives became very upset. The level of outrage was especially high, considering last season Danielle took issue with Teresa's husband's use of the term "gaylord," but now seemed to give derogatory language a pass.

I'm pretty sure the housewives care more about having an excuse to hate Danielle than gay slurs, but it does present a common dilemma: when you hear someone use language that offends you, do you speak up?

Move Over Bethenny, There's a New "Skinny" Housewife in Town

Bethenny Frankel isn't the only housewife with a penchant for healthy entertaining. Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice spent the weekend signing copies of her book, Skinny Italian ($12), at a bookstore in, of all places, New Jersey. Teresa, who's better known for flipping tables at dinner than serving it, shares all the classics - pesto and puttanesca sauces, veal piccata, and fettucine alfredo - but with a healthy twist.

I love Italian-American food but it's often carb-heavy with lots of cheese, butter, and beef. Teresa's recipes cut down on the fat but not flavor - there's less cheese, leaner meats, and a reduction of fats. Instead, flavors are boosted with herbs, garlic, olive oil, and peppers. Besides the recipes, Teresa offers lessons on making fresh pizza, canning your own tomatoes, and general cooking tips. Her mantra? "Eat spaghetti and still fit into your skinny jeans."
