Undoubtedly lightsaber battles and space travels will look breathtaking in 3D, but we're also excited about the nostalgia of seeing the movies again in theaters. Of course, we're of the camp that says you shouldn't convert films to 3D just for the sake of jumping on the bandwagon. It needs to serve a purpose. A smartphone is supposed to keep you connected with the world at your fingertips, but is it just stressing you out? A new study from the University of Worcester suggests staying connected is stress-inducing for those that feel they can never sign off.

Study volunteers admit their constant checking, rechecking, and triple checking for new notifications has them experiencing phantom vibrations, believing their phone is chirping for attention even in those rare moments it's not. Most of the participants originally began using smartphones to keep up with work on the go, which quickly spiraled into 24/7 replies to emails, tweets, and Facebook messages.

Companies are starting to react to the pressures of work-life balance in the face of technology. Volkswagen, for example, shuts off its BlackBerry email server outside of office hours so employees can recharge without a mobile distraction. Opera Garnier's L'Opera Restaurant Blends Modern Design With Historical Architecture

Architecture firm Odile Decq Benoit Cornette recently finished Paris's Opera Garnier L'Opera restaurant, which is rumored to be the toughest reservation in the city. The restaurant, a beautifully designed, sleek space, occupies a mezzanine level and the ground floor at Opera Garnier, both of which create a sense of undulating movement, thanks to the curvaceous seating areas and architecture created by Odile Decq Benoit Cornette.

Natalie Portman Smiles Big and Shows Aleph Around LA

Natalie Portman carried baby Aleph through the farmers market in LA yesterday. Natalie's fiancé, Benjamin Millepied, was also there, and he pushed a cart full of produce as the family of three wandered through the stalls. Natalie and Benjamin are on the West Coast following a trip last month to Switzerland, where Benjamin worked on choreography for the National Geneva Theater. The couple have been keeping a low profile since Aleph's birth, and they skipped this weekend's Scream Awards despite Natalie winning the best fantasy actress honors for her work in Black Swan. Natalie will be back on the big screen when Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace is rereleased in 3D next February, though we'll have to wait to see if she signs on to do the sequel to Thor after starring in the first film earlier this year.

Be alert consumers! A class action lawsuit has revealed that millions of customers may have been overcharged by AT&T, reports MSNBC. The lawyers handling the case hired a computer firm for $80,000 to test the gadgets against different carriers and found that AT&T "systematically overstated the amount of data used on virtually every transaction."

In fact, the company is being accused of routinely overcharging about seven to 14 percent on iPhones and iPads for data usage. However, there are cases in which the firm has overcharged up to 300 percent. These overcharges can on average cost you about an extra $10 to $15 a month.

Further, you might also be susceptible to "phantom" charges - engineers bought a new iPhone and disabled software and functions that would trigger data charges, and received a bill that charged them for 35 "phantom" transactions. AT&T customers, here are some tips to save on data usage and your money:

Check your data usage. Track your data usage constantly, just like you check your minutes and your texts. Take note of any transaction that doesn't sit right with you.
Use WiFi. When you can, use WiFi to reduce data usage and take advantage of the unlimited WiFi plan.
Check quickly with these shortcuts. Call *DATA# on your cell or download the myAT&T app to check the data usage.
Turn data roaming off when overseas. Don't end up with a huge bill after your travels and turn the data roaming on your phone off when you're abroad. Use WiFi instead and consider temporarily purchasing the firm's international data packages if you have need of it or will be overseas for a long length of time. The Big Apple - New York City and AT&T just announced the launch of free WiFi service at 20 city parks across all five boroughs. While we'd like to imagine park goers enjoying computer-less moments, free park WiFi is a great excuse to "work from home."
Airports - Kayak created a handy guide of WiFi at US airports noting which airports provide free and secure WiFi.
The golden arches - In most major cities it'd be difficult to not pass a steady stream of McDonald's, Starbucks, and other big name restaurants. Many of these chains offer free WiFi, putting the "value" in value meal.

Steer clear of wireless networks labeled "Free Public WiFi." Due to an old Windows XP glitch, phantom connections often appear in network settings and may leave the user vulnerable to hacker manipulation. Select the network obvious to your location, like "TulsaAirport WiFi." And for the sake of your travel companions, limit that WiFi time!
