The Office, "Special Project": Best Lines of The Night

In this week's episode of The Office, Dwight has been chosen to spearhead a three-week assignment in Tallahassee. He's putting together "a competent team" that will assist him on the mission, setting up a number of new Sabre locations. Half the episode deals with various relationship issues, and the rest is essentially an audition for the team that will head to Florida. There are some important plot points revealed: Val and Darryl vaguely express their feelings for each other, and Erin tells us she wants to head to Florida for good. While "Special Project" definitely has potential, this week just kind of landed flat for me.

The Office, "Jury Duty": Best Lines of The Night

After a solid cold opening of Andy dancing to "Footloose" in the warehouse (think dancing on bubble wrap and punching packing peanuts), the rest of this week's episode of The Office is a success. We find out early on that Jim was called to jury duty for a half day that he turned into five days. Dwight catches on to Jim's plan early on and does everything in his power to bring him down. On top of all the cute kids that show up for "Jury Duty," Jim and Dwight go at it. Oscar has some awesome moments. And I love this new friendship between Kevin and Erin that's blossoming before our eyes.

This is one of my favorite episodes I can remember in a long time. Not too plot driven and chock-full of solid comedic writing plus a handful endearing moments that just made me feel good. To get a few of my favorite lines, just keep reading.

Would You Watch an Office Spinoff About Dwight?

Dunder Mifflin's former assistant to the regional manager may leave the grind of The Office and go back to his roots. NBC is considering a Dwight spinoff about his bizarre life on Schrute Farms and his attempt to run the successful B&B he's always dreamed of.

It's unclear whether this means Dwight would be leaving The Office, but it would be pretty easy to write him off since he's pretty disillusioned with the whole corporate gig at Sabre these days. However, part of why Dwight's shtick works so well is because it's fun to see him interact with Jim, Andy, and the like. If he's solely dedicated to the beet business, he won't have to engage (or ignore) in any social niceties until someone heads over for a visit. What's your take: do you want to see Dwight have his own show?

The Office, "Pool Party": Best Lines of the Night

On this week's The Office, we got to see the colleagues of Dunder Mifflin as we rarely see them: in their bathing suits. The gang gets invited to a pool party at Robert California's dream home before he has to put it on the market, and things get a little wild.

Erin bends over backward to make Andy jealous, who has an engagement ring he may or may not use on his girlfriend. Jim tries to leave the party early, but the wet and crazy festivities keep everyone going, and things get weird. There were so many funny lines, but I managed to pick out a few favorites. The Office, "Trivia": Best Lines of The Night

In this week's episode of The Office, Oscar attends a trivia night contest in Philadelphia. Naturally, Andy decides that the whole office should get involved in the fun. Everyone shows up without telling Oscar and realizes instantly that they're at a gay bar. Their worries blow over pretty quickly and the office splits up into three teams: the "good timers," the "back-ups," and the "A-team." My heart broke for Kevin's initial lack of "self-awareness" on which team he was best suited for, but felt such a sense of accomplishment when he and the rest of the "good timers" (renamed The Einsteins) come out on top.

A great addition to this episode comes in the form of Dwight's separate storyline. After hearing that there's a managerial position open in Florida, he takes the initiative to travel down to speak to Robert California in person. He has some great one-liners and some hysterical interactions with Gabe, but unfortunately, it was not the saving grace of the episode. Overall, "Trivia" was all right, but definitely not my favorite of the season. I did love that Kevin had some quality moments - and surprisingly, the guy running trivia in Philly provided some of the funniest moments of the episode! To see the best lines, just keep reading.

NBC's Thursday night comedies aired their holiday episodes this week, and each one had its share of laughs, but which show was the best? On Community, the study group gets pulled into the glee club to perform in the college's Christmas pageant, and on Parks and Recreation, Leslie's colleagues pull together to give her the gift of running her campaign. Over on The Office, Dwight and Jim engage in the ultimate prank-off (but with a twist), while on Whitney, Chris and Whitney try to avoid their families so they can avoid holiday drama. Every show had me laughing out loud (especially the funny songs on Community and Tom's "Baller Time" watch on Parks and Rec), and The Office and Whitney have some sweet moments - but which one had the best holiday episode?

The Office's "Christmas Wishes": Best Lines of the Night

This year's holiday episode of The Office kicks off with Andy being an authoritarian, but adorable, choral director, leading the crew in his rendition of "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer." It's the first Christmas in history without Michael Scott playing Santa, and the Nard Dog has big shoes to fill. In true Dunder Mifflin style, they're throwing a big bash, and Andy decides to grant everyone in the office one Christmas wish.

One Christmas miracle comes in the form of a "darkly erratic" Robert California, while another highlight is one of the most epic air-guitar sessions ever seen on the small screen. Ultimately, though, this episode is about Erin's lingering feelings for Andy, and his own confusion about whether or not he reciprocates. I'm not sure how to feel about this. Are we supposed to be happy that they might possibly get back together? Or do we just want Erin to get a sweet boyfriend who adores her even more? Sneak Peek: The Office's Sweet Christmas Episode

The Office has had some pretty epic holiday episodes over the past seven seasons - remember when Jim got Pam the teapot for Secret Santa? - and there's another festive show on the way Dec. 8. Without Michael around, it's Andy's turn to play Santa, and he's intent on trying to grant everyone's wishes this year. Something tells me he's not going to succeed, but this episode already looks pretty sweet and heartwarming. Just take a look!

What Is the Best Network Comedy of 2011?

Many saw repeat wins in categories at the Emmys, like Modern Family, which picked up its second win for best comedy series, and The Big Bang Theory, whose star Jim Parsons received his second statuette for lead actor in a comedy series.
