The Young Victoria hits limited theaters on Friday, with Emily Blunt as the 19th-century royal in her younger years. Blunt's already up for a Best Actress Golden Globe for her depiction of Queen Victoria, but she's not the first Hollywood star to don a crown. TV Today: Paying Tribute to Deborah Kerr

Deborah Kerr, the classic film actress best known for romancing Burt Lancaster on a beach in From Here to Eternity, died last week at age 86. To pay tribute to Kerr, two different channels are showing some of her best-known films today.

First up is the Fox Movie Channel, which will air The King and I and The Innocents. They'll air at 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. on the East Coast; elsewhere, check your local listings.

Then, Turner Classic Movies will present its own doubleheader of two Oscar-nominated Kerr roles, first that revolutionary turn in From Here to Eternity at 8 p.m. and then Separate Tables at 10:15 p.m. (Again, check your local listings.)

Blake Lively Pitches in to Help Launch Jason Wu For Target

Blake Lively was among the starlets who stepped out in NYC last night to celebrate the launch of Jason Wu For Target. She joined the designer on the red carpet, which also hosted Chloë Moretz and Jaime King. French singer Yelle was on hand to entertain the attendees, who snacked on Laduree macarons. Jason later tweeted his appreciation for the turnout. He wrote, "Can I just say having Chloe Moretz and Jaime King at my Jason Wu for Target party meant the world to me."

The bash was Blake's second public appearance of the day after celebrating Gossip Girl's 100th episode in Queens with her small screen costars Ed Westwick and Penn Badgley. Mayor Michael Bloomberg was there to issue a special proclamation in honor of the series, which has brought many jobs to the Big Apple area during its five-year run.

Nathan Fillion may have risen to science fiction fame and glory in the gone-before-its-time show Firefly, it's his role as a crime solving novelist that found him award glory last night at the People's Choice Awards. The prolific Twitterer was selected as Favorite TV Drama Actor by the voting fans.

If you aren't already a devoted Castle, Firefly and Nathan fan in general, here's why you should catch up on our favorite geek.

Upping the nerd appeal, Nathan has voiced characters in Justice League Unlimited, King of the Hill, and the Halo video games.
He's a Game of Thrones fan!

Michael Patrick King Says the Jokes of 2 Broke Girls Are "Classy Dirty"

CBS brought Fall hit 2 Broke Girls to the Winter TCA, and stars Kat Dennings and Beth Behrs joined series co-creator Michael Patrick King to talk about the comedy series. King was taken to task by reporters for the jokes on the show that rely on stereotyping and sex, and he took the time to defend himself and the show's humor.

King was asked about the depiction of racial stereotypes on 2 Broke Girls, and he said that "the big story about race on our show is that so many are represented." King said that "every character is a stereotype when it's born" and that the show "started with two: a blonde and a brunette," and if you have enough time, "you get to shade the characters."
As for the sex jokes, King called the brand of humor on 2 Broke Girls "classy dirty." "Everyone loves a good naughty joke," King said, and he tried to give it a positive spin: "I think that our show is a big ballsy comedy, but it has a bigger heart than it does balls."
Dennings thinks that Max's humor is enlightening, saying that "every joke is an insight to Max's life." Even if her jokes are mean or dirty, King said that due to her tough life, "humor is our only way to have Max survive."
There was one subject everyone was delighted to talk about: Chestnut the horse. Behrs said they felt "so close!" to Rocky the horse, and Dennings recounted a time she teared up because she was rehearsing a scene with Rocky, and he nuzzled her face. King said that Rocky responds to Dennings's voice and joked that he wished Rocky "was here right now!"
