Movie Preview: The Grand

When I first saw the poster for The Grand I had to groan. Not another casino movie! But then I looked a little closer and found some familiar, welcome names like Cheryl Hines, David Cross, Chris Parnell, Judy Greer and Woody Harrelson. The Game is a mockumentary-style spoof on professional gaming, with a ridiculously talented cast full of funny people.

You just have to check out this trailer for the movie which opens in limited release March 21. And in case you're wondering, yes, "The Scary German" is legendary German director Werner Herzog (Rescue Dawn, Grizzly Man, Little Dieter Needs to Fly). Hilarious.

Robert Pattinson Rises Early For Cosmopolis in Cannes

Robert Pattinson drew a large crowd at the Cannes Film Festival in France this morning. He stepped out for a photocall to promote Cosmopolis after also talking up the project on Le Grand Journal yesterday. Rob will be back in front of the cameras for the premiere of the film later today, though he's already made his red-carpet debut at this year's festival. Rob supported girlfriend Kristen Stewart by showing up at the screening of her movie On the Road, which also stars his pal Tom Sturridge. The fun continued after the event when Rob and Kristen kissed on the balcony of Le Baron's Cannes outpost. Kristen is apparently still in the South of France, but we'll have to wait and see if she makes another red-carpet appearance with Rob this afternoon.

Nicole Kidman chose a black-and-white checkered dress for her latest Cannes Film Festival look. She stepped out this morning for a photocall with Hemingway & Gellhorn costar Clive Owen after also promoting The Paperboy. Nicole, Zac Efron, and Matthew McConaughey made multiple stops for their project, including the red-carpet premiere and an appearance on Le Grand Journal. Nicole will be back in the spotlight later today when Hemingway & Gellhorn screens at the Grand Palais. Matthew will also return to the festival's famous carpet for Mud, which also stars Reese Witherspoon. Reese arrived in the South of France with her husband, Jim Toth, just yesterday and we can't wait to see the glamorous looks she chooses for her many events. Nicole, Reese, Zac, and Matthew may all be friendly at the festival, but they're in direct competition for the top spot in the PopSugar 100. Robert Pattinson Is All Smiles to Chat Cosmopolis at Cannes

Robert Pattinson and costar Sarah Gadon made the first of many promotional appearances in Cannes today to chat up their David Cronenberg-directed project, Cosmopolis. Rob's movie is in competition against Kristen Stewart's latest dramatic endeavor, On the Road. Kristen's film premiered last night and even though she didn't walk the carpet with Rob, he was still on hand to support her groundbreaking performance. Kristen and Rob shared some PDA at the afterparty, where the duo were spotted cuddling and kissing. Kristen's reportedly still in Cannes so we'll have to wait and see if she joins Rob tomorrow for his big premiere.

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart kissed late night yesterday in Cannes. The couple were at Le Baron's Cannes outpost celebrating the premiere of her new movie On the Road. Robert checked out the screening as well, but walked the red carpet solo. A Balenciaga-clad Kristen nonetheless had plenty of male company. She posed for pictures alongside leading men Sam Riley and Garrett Hedlund, as well as supporting actors like Rob's BFF Tom Sturridge. We caught the movie yesterday as well - make sure to check out our review of On the Road. The movie is making waves because of some surprise topless scenes from Kristen. She didn't seem too caught up in the attention last night, though, as she spent time alongside Rob. It will be Robert's turn to debut a film tomorrow, as his Cosmopolis will be screened at the Grand Palais.

The costars chatted about their project on the French TV program Le Grand Journal. Zac's face was freshly shaved after he took off from LAX yesterday with a scruffy mustache. Matthew, meanwhile, was looking handsome for his latest event following an appearance with fiancée Camila Alves at Baoli Beach Tuesday. Nicole traveled to the South of France during a break from filming her newest movie, The Railway Man, in Scotland. There are so many stars at the Cannes Film Festival already, and the fun continues until the end of the week so stay tuned for more from the glamorous overseas event.

The stars of The Paperboy were up early in France to promote their project at the Cannes Film Festival today. Nicole Kidman, Zac Efron, and Matthew McConaughey's morning photocall comes after an appearance on the French show Le Grand Journal just yesterday. Zac opened up about filming mostly in his underwear, saying, "I don't think I was supposed to feel comfortable. It's like life. This character is supposed to be learning the ways of the world, and that can be very uncomfortable. But it's also exciting." The trio will be back in the spotlight later today, when they premiere their movie at the Grand Palais.

Kristen, Kirsten, Garrett, and Their On the Road Gang Hit the Grand Palais at Cannes

Kristen Stewart hit the red carpet for her Cannes premiere of On the Road this evening. She had the company of costars Sam Riley, Garrett Hedlund, Tom Sturridge, and Kirsten Dunst. Kirsten wore pink Dior, and Kristen was in Balenciaga. The gang spent the whole day together, having attended a press conference and photocall earlier. The movie debuted at the film festival this morning - check out our movie review of On the Road. The picture is based on the classic 1957 Jack Kerouac novel, and in it Kristen plays Marylou, the object of affection for the two main characters, played by Sam Riley and Garrett Hedlund. It was a big risk for Kristen, who has actually been attached to the project since producers saw her in 2007's Into the Wild, because it involves more nudity than her Twilight movies.

At today's press conference, Kristen spoke about her character. She said, "I love Marylou. The character is so vivid, she jumps right off the page and slaps you in the face . . . If I had to choose one character who really, truly embodied the spirit of this book, it was her. She really is this amazing link between the two boys. It's a grand statement to make, but it might not have happened without her."

Tom Sturridge didn't bring along his pregnant partner Sienna Miller, but there were plenty of other celeb couples in attendance. Robert Pattinson turned up to support Kristen ahead of his own Cosmopolis debuting at Cannes this weekend. Sam Riley had wife Alexandra Maria Lara on his arm, and costars Garrett Hedlund and Kirsten Dunst were able to mix romance and work on the carpet.

Kristen Stewart and her On the Road cast mates gathered this morning for a photocall at the Cannes Film Festival. Kristen paired a white tee and black blazer with a pair of wild printed pants for the press session. She threw an arm around a Dolce & Gabbana-clad Kirsten Dunst for a series of girls-only pictures, then linked up with costars Sam Riley, Viggo Mortensen, Tom Sturridge, Garrett Hedlund, and Danny Morgan. Kristen's in France with the picture and her costars just ahead of her boyfriend Robert Pattinson's Cannes debut. He'll hit the Croisette himself with his David Cronenberg-directed Cosmopolis before the festival wraps up this weekend. Kristen and Robert aren't the only couple we're hoping to see making the rounds. Tom may have brought along his pregnant partner Sienna Miller, and Sam makes an adorable pair with his German actress wife, Alexandra Maria Lara. "This at-home workout is effective because it targets the whole lower body. Cardio Barre is amazing because it is a no-impact workout that allows you to lengthen and strengthen your muscles while burning fat. It will also help increase your flexibility and strength," says Bosworth.

Celebrity devotees, including Dakota Fanning, Neve Campbell, and Heather Morris, can all attest to the fact that Cardio Barre has given them "a lifted tush and leaner, dancer-like legs!" Incorporate these three moves into your regular routine three times a week for maximum results.

Come down to the floor on both forearms with your knees bent. Your left hip is directly over your left knee. Your right leg is bent to a 90-degree angle with your foot flexed. Extend your right leg toward the ceiling as if you were pushing the ceiling away from you (see photo above). Bring your right leg down past your left hip and then back up toward the ceiling, keeping your leg parallel to the floor with your kneecap pointing toward the ground and your foot flexed. You are doing a full range of motion, trying to imagine extending your leg all the way through the ceiling.
