Buzz In: What's Your Favorite Beatles Album?

It's finally happened: the music of The Beatles is now available to buy on iTunes! After years of trademark debate, you can buy the legendary band's music from Apple. Though this is anticlimactic to huge fans who already own every Beatles album, it's still pretty huge (and it's encouraging me to listen to an all-Beatles playlist at my desk today).

So in the spirit of loving the Fab Four, I want to focus on the music and ask you if you have a favorite album (mine is a tie between Abbey Road and The White Album). I got a huge response from you guys when I asked what your favorite Beatles song is, so now, tell me, what's your favorite album?

It's Official: The Beatles Now Available in iTunes

It's been a long time coming, but The Beatles have finally made their debut on iTunes! Starting today, you can grab the entire Beatles collection for $150, double albums for $20, or pick and choose your favorite tunes for $1.29 each. What's more, there's an impressive number of new Apple Beatles iTunes ads and a beautiful video tour of The Beatles through the years for your browsing pleasure.

With Steve Jobs being the huge Beatles fan that he is, it doesn't really come as a surprise that he and Apple finally made this addition happen, and it seems that the remaining members of the group - Sir Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr, along with Olivia Harrison and Yoko Ono Lennon - were willing to put their differences with Apple behind them to open up the world of The Beatles to a new digital generation. Rumor: Is The Beatles Collection Coming to iTunes Tomorrow?

Apple placed a teaser ad on its website this morning, which promises an iTunes announcement we won't forget at 10 a.m. EST tomorrow, and now, The Wall Street Journal is reporting that Apple has finally secured rights to sell The Beatles in the online music store according to "sources familiar with the situation."

There has been a long battle between The Beatles and Apple over trademark scuffles, which has prevented the store from selling the band's content. Have the two finally buried the hatchet? I guess we'll see tomorrow!

Google Gets Animated For John Lennon's 70th

It would be nearly impossible to beat the awesomeness that was the interactive Pac-Man doodle that Google posted on its main search page back in May, but today's video doodle may come close.

In honor of John Lennon's 70th birthday tomorrow, Google has created an animated video doodle set to the tune of "Imagine" on its homepage. It's a quick vid, and once it's finished playing it takes you to the John Lennon Google search page so you can catch up on your Lennon history. Check out the animation for yourself after the break.

Babes Stroll in Maclaren's Yellow Submarine, Yellow Submarine

Lil ones can "sail on to the sun" in their own version of a yellow submarine starting next month. Forty-five-year-old British stroller king Maclaren is moving beyond its experience collaborating with high-end designers and turning its attention to legendary musicians like the Beatles.

The special edition Yellow Submarine Maclaren Quest stroller ($280) features a bright yellow seat, denim hood, reversible psychedelic print liner, and an adorable bubble print rain cover. Images from the iconic film are embroidered on the hood, seat back, and liner and a spiffy matching foot muff is sold separately. The buggy, which will be sold by major retailers in September, is built onto the Quest frame, similar to the BabyGap, Jacadi, and Lulu Guinness versions before it. With a funky design like this, it's only a matter of time before tots will be asking mama to play the Sgt. Pepper's album backwards!

Home Away From Home: Hard Days Night Hotel

Themed hotels can often lean toward the overly kitschy, but the Hard Days Night Hotel in Liverpool, England, manages to balance Beatles paraphernalia with a sophisticated boutique vibe. Amazingly, the Beatles' hometown welcomed this hotel just two years ago, but already, it's the fab home to an extensive collection of Beatles-related artwork and photos.

Beatles enthusiasts will notice nods to the band in the décor, such as the white grand piano in the John Lennon suite, and design fiends will appreciate the inspired color combinations. As a fan of both the Fab Four and Beatles-inspired décor, I'm already yearning for a trip to Liverpool. Better yet, it's a steal, with rooms starting around $150/night. Biggest Headline of '09: Old Songs Rule Music Charts

I already told you that everything old was new again in 2009 when it came to movie remakes - now I'm applying it to the music of the year too.

First, TV's impact brought back an '80s anthem; when Glee premiered its pilot episode only back in June, the club performed Journey's power ballad "Don't Stop Believin'." Their version debuted at number four on Billboard's Hot 100, and was certified gold in November after selling 500,000 downloads. (The original remains an iTunes staple, and interestingly, received a similar boost when The Sopranos used the song in its 2007 series finale.)

TV wasn't the only medium boosting the music charts; this September, when new video game The Beatles Rock Band was released at the same time as the band's catalog in digital form (though not on iTunes), and remastered versions of their albums. These releases boosted EMI, which, this month, reported selling 10 million copies of the band's remastered albums since September.

And finally, another iconic artist saw his music rise while he fell - the death of Michael Jackson spurred a new appreciation for the King of Pop's hits. His albums "Number Ones," "The Essential Michael Jackson," and "Thriller" sold over 100,000 copies this Summer alone, while his individual tracks topped international iTunes charts.

Sgt. Pepper Headed to the Rock Band Music Store Tomorrow

September was a big month for The Beatles in the gaming world when The Beatles Rock Band hit the market. I went crazy over it during a sneak peek at E3, and was not disappointed when I got my own copy. Although The Beatles have not always been so chummy with tech, times are a-changing as Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band makes its way to The Beatles: Rock Band music store tomorrow for your Xbox 360 and Wii systems, and will be available on your PS3 on Nov. 19!

Although I'd love to, I can't really throw down for their special edition digital collection, so I'm stoked at least to get to play along on one of my favorite games. To see how much each track from the album will set you back, just

Individual singles from the record like "When I'm Sixty-Four" and "Lovely Rita" can be purchased for $1.99 each (or 160 Microsoft Points on your Xbox), while the entire album can be downloaded for $13.50 (1080 Microsoft Points). Wii owners can rock out with The Beatles tomorrow as well, but you'll be paying $2 a pop or 200 Wii Points for the tracks.

Every Beatles Song on an Apple-Shaped USB Drive

Only 30,000 of these limited-edition Beatles USB drives will be made, and are expected to be released in North America on Dec. 8. For $280, the 16GB drive contains the entire Beatles catalog, plus extras like videos, album art, and photos. Since they'll probably sell like hot cakes, you can preorder yours now via the official Beatles store.

Beatles albums still aren't available in the iTunes store and I'm curious how fast these devices will sell out. The concept is great and the drive has a cool design, but would you fork over nearly $300 for the digital music files?

Yes, you read that right: the holiday season is already upon us! It's time to pack up our scary Halloween decorations and start brainstorming ideas for the perfect presents. I know how daunting holiday shopping can be, which is why I'm here to help you every step of the way for all the entertainment lovers in your life. Kicking things off: gifts for your proud papas.

Finding something great for my dad has always been a bit of a struggle, since he's already got a lifetime's worth of gadgets and gizmos, but that's where this guide comes in handy - he always needs new CDs for the stereo and some DVDs to help show off that plasma screen, right?

My parents love reminiscing about the '60s on Mad Men, and what dad wouldn't look dashing in Brooks Brothers' limited edition suit? It doesn't come cheap, but then again, neither does looking as suave as Don Draper.
