Coen Brothers, Michael Chabon Team Up for Yiddish Policemen
Michael Chabon, book-to-film heavy hitter.
After his book Wonder Boys was made into a movie in 2000, Michael Chabon's work The Mysteries of Pittsburgh made it to audiences at this year's Sundance (I thought the movie was okay). A film version of his tome The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier & Clay is currently in pre-production.
