In addition to the new shows that have already debuted — including "The Black Donnellys" and "The Winner" — the networks are premiering all sorts of series for the spring, including David E. Kelley's latest project, "The Wedding Bells." Which one are you most excited about?

Though I found him horribly annoying when he first joined "The Daily Show," I eventually warmed up to Rob Corddry and his awkward, mildly pitiful brand of humor. That said, I don't know if Corddry has what it takes to helm his own sitcom, but he'll get a chance to prove himself tonight at 9:30 p.m. when "The Winner" debuts on Fox.

Well, the Emmys are over, and we have our full list of winners. Were you guys surprised by this year's picks? (Check out all my Emmy polls here.) I thought the show started out pretty unexpectedly when underdogs Kristin Chenoweth and Toni Collete took home trophies, and there were a few other surprises along the way.

Michael Kors disappeared from the judges panel on this week's Project Runway, so season two alum Nick Verreos and actress Kerry Washington took his place. The challenge was to craft a companion look for each contestant's best look (not winning look, sadly, because Logan hadn't won a challenge). The winner and loser didn't necessarily surprise me, but the whininess of Althea and Irina irritated me to no end.

This week's Project Runway brought on a legendary stage costume designer who loves to use sequins and glitz (Bob Mackie) and a star who loves to wear them (Christina Aguilera). It also marked the triumphant return of Nina Garcia on the judging panel, who's been mostly absent this season. Her judging and critique are such a comfort to hear (and I would have paid Tim Gunn to tell someone "Don't bore Nina!").

Last week I shared with you my interview with Precious actress Paula Patton, but now it's time to hear from the director himself, Lee Daniels. I asked the Sundance-award winner — the film took home the Audience Award and Grand Jury Prize — how it feels to hear Oscar buzz, and what it's like when Oprah is on your speed dial. Plus, he opened up to me about how the movie helped him overcome from his own dark past.

Derek Shepherd has been on the periphery of Seattle Grace for the first few episodes of this season of Grey's Anatomy, but this week he's back — and in a big way. As Derek tries yet again to work his magic on a seemingly inoperable tumor, he also provokes a long-coming showdown with the Chief. As for the other doctors, Cristina's still frustrated about her lack of surgeries, and Alex still can't get through to Izzie.

This week's ousted dancers from So You Think You Can Dance were the first to go since the top 20 were selected. Brandon Dumlao and Ariana Dubose got on the phone with a few reporters this morning, including me, to chat about how they feel after last night's elimination.

- On the timeline of replacing Billy Bell: I got the call on Friday at 11 in the morning and they told me that I was able to replace another dancer, and it was Billy, in this case.
