Twilight Leads the People's Choice Awards Nominations

The 36th annual People's Choice Awards nominees are here, and last year's Twilight is leading the charge! American Idol's Kris Allen was among the announcers this morning for the nominees, which also include lots of nods for The Proposal - but of course, everyone's favorite bloodsucking love story landed in many categories, including favorite on-screen movie team.

Why didn't they look to 2009's New Moon? Because last year's nominations debuted before the first movie in the Twilight saga.

What's Your Take on Gossip Girl's Upcoming Threesome?

I'm just gonna come out and say it: I think Gossip Girl has been missing the mark so far in season three. A lot of shows struggle with the post-high-school transition, and GG is having trouble placing many of its characters in a college environment (hello, Blair Waldorf).

That's not to say the writers aren't trying everything - this week Hilary Duff and Tyra Banks made appearances, and apparently Lady Gaga will also make a cameo later this season. The juiciest spoiler of all is that we can expect to see a threesome on the Nov. 9 episode - though the participants are still a mystery.

So what do you think of this news? Is a threesome story outrageous? Totally dated? Clearly a desperate ratings ploy? And what are your predictions for the parties involved?
