Tuesdays are big in entertainmentville: Not only do all the new DVD releases hit Netflix, but new music also pours into stores, including iTunes. So I take a spin through each week's iTunes music releases and pick out some albums and tracks worthy of a download. Here are today's selections:
My heroes: The Gym Class Heroes' new album is a little less edgy than previous LPs (sounds like they've started to enter Black Eyed Peas territory) but I'm still digging it.

All right, September is here! Let the good times roll! I know that sounds awfully cheery given the end of Summer, but from an entertainment perspective, this time of year is exciting.

Robert Pattinson fans, rest assured: you won't be disappointed with the heartthrob's first post-Twilight flick, Remember Me. Pattinson is the epicenter of the film as Tyler Hawkins, a troubled-but-charming college student with a few anger management problems. His character is a loose cannon and his New York accent is all over the place, but Pattinson is just so watchable that his loyal followers will hardly notice the flaws in the plot that surrounds him.

Alright, ABC, you got us. You promo'd this week's Lost as so incredibly shocking you couldn't even show us the footage. Well, it has its share of jaw-dropping moments (especially the last five minutes!), but mainly, it just serves as a nice connection episode, ready to set us up for when the real drama hits the fan.

Last week, I did a check-in on Cougar Town to let you know what's so great about it, and today I'd like to mention another show that I don't normally recap, but have been watching and enjoying: Accidentally on Purpose. The freshman comedy stars Jenna Elfman and Jon Foster as Billie and Zack, a couple who gets to know each other and starts dating after she gets pregnant from a one-night stand.
- First impression: I thought the pilot was cute enough, and I kept up with the show since Billie's pregnancy keeps things moving at a rapid pace.

Awhile back the majority of you voted to kill off the Men in Black franchise, but perhaps you'll have a change of heart after today's news. Josh Brolin is reportedly in talks to join Men in Black 3 as a potential stand-in for Tommy Lee Jones's Agent K. The details haven't been finalized, but word is he could play a young Agent K or possibly an entirely new partner to Agent J (Will Smith).

After a few arduous weeks without Glee, the show is back — and thankfully, it doesn't disappoint. Not only are there some fabulous performances (showcasing new voices), but we learn a few secrets about Tina's stutter and Sue's family life.
Meanwhile, Finn and Quinn's relationship is unraveling fast, and Puck is ready to stand up and win his baby mama back.

The Tuesday night CW block made a particularly strong showing this week. Personally, I thought 90210 had one of its best episodes of the season — nice character development, a few teary moments, and some "oh no she didn't" disses. And as for Melrose Place, I've got two words for you: Heather Locklear.
