Valentine's Day is fast approaching and over the weekend I chatted with some of my friends who aren't too excited to do the same old, same old thing of cards and candy. So we started thinking up other romantic gestures — quirkier, cuter things that a sweetie might not expect. And of course, this turned into a discussion of romantic gestures taken from — or inspired by — movies and TV.

This week, the Sugar Network is a-twitter with the excitement of wedding planning mania, which got me thinking about all the hard workers who make those big days as perfect as possible. And then there are those who "work" weddings with a different agenda. Either way, it's time for a Movie Night all about wedding workers.

I recently came across this list of the top 10 opening title sequences in movies, compiled by laboratory101.com. Granted, many of them are truly awesome: I have a particular fondness for the opening scenes of Snatch. Yet, I couldn't help noticing that they are basically all crime, horror, or gangster movies: Casino, Dawn of the Dead, Fight Club, Seven, etc.

The Glee train is chugging right along, and I don't just mean the new episodes. This week we learned that Madonna has given the green light for the show to use her music and the first 13 episodes will be available on DVD in December. Now, on to the good stuff.
