Watch Ron Burgundy and the Boys in Two Anchorman 2 Teasers!

It's been eight long years since the original, but Anchorman 2 is so on, you guys. The movie is finally coming out in 2013, but two short teasers are here - and as brief as they are, they're both pretty funny. Will Ferrell's legendary Ron Burgundy is back on deck with his fellow news anchors, Brian Fantana (Paul Rudd), Champ Kind (David Koechner), and Brick Tamland (Steve Carell), and as usual, Brick needs help coming up with anything to say in both of the clips.

Like I said, they're short, and we also have no idea what the plot will be, but I dare you not to get excited that Anchorman 2 is a reality. Watch the teasers and let me know what you think after the jump.

Seeking a Friend For the End of the World Trailer: Steve Carell Finds Keira Knightley

In Seeking a Friend For the End of the World, Steve Carell plays Dodge, a man facing the reality that an asteroid is about the destroy the earth and he, along with everyone else, has to figure out what to do with the last three weeks of his life. For people like Patton Oswalt's character, it's sleeping with as man people as possible, but for regretful Dodge, it's love. When he meets his pixie-ish neighbor, played by Keira Knightley, she takes it upon herself to help Dodge find the girl that got away, if he helps her see her family before the world ends.

The trailer is very funny, considering its bleak subject matter (I giggled at Melanie Lynskey's character wearing all the clothes she never had a chance to wear), and Carell is the perfect leading man for the dark comedy. I'm especially curious to see what his chemistry with Knightley is like, and even though the title and what we see in the trailer implies it's just a friendship, it seems like something romantic must come up - the world is ending, after all. Steve Carell Will Hit the Soccer Field in Lunatics

We're used to seeing Steve Carell call the shots in his role as the former regional manager of Dunder Mifflin on The Office, but now he's ready to take a position of power on the soccer field. Steve Carell will star as a referee in Lunatics, a film based on a book by comedy writers Dave Barry and Alan Zweibel. In addition to reining in young athletes, Carell's character will also have to deal with a particularly boisterous soccer dad. I love seeing Carell play an angry character - I loved his irrational outbursts on The Office as Michael - so I hope he'll get into a few blow-up arguments with his costar. What do you think of Carell taking to the soccer field?

Crazy, Stupid, Love: Touching, Smart, Lovely

In a sea of Hollywood movies depicting relationships through clichés, Crazy, Stupid, Love actually gets it right. Steve Carell stars as Cal, a man who's been abruptly dumped by his wife, Emily (Julianne Moore). Despondent and friendless, Cal takes to hanging out in a local bar, where slick ladies' man Jacob (Ryan Gosling) takes pity on him. Under Jacob's tutelage, Cal dresses better and learns to be assertive, as he unhappily figures out his life without Emily in it. A couple of subplots are woven throughout as well: Jacob, not used to being rejected, falls for the only girl who seems to be able to resist his charms, a law student named Hannah (Emma Stone). Meanwhile, Cal and Emily's teenage son Robbie is in the throes of unrequited love for his babysitter, Jessica (Analeigh Tipton) - who's harboring a crush on Cal.

There's certainly a lot going on, but Crazy, Stupid, Love manages to illustrate the value of each emotional connection in the movie without veering too far off course. To find out why I loved the film, just

The partnership of Carell and Gosling is one of the most enjoyable things about the movie, mainly because Gosling is so impressive as a comedic actor. In scenes like Cal's makeover montage and those opposite Stone, he executes the dialogue so perfectly you'd think he was harboring a secret stand-up career. Unsurprisingly, he segues easily into the later dramatic scenes with Carell, and both actors excel.

I would have liked to see Carell in a role that was more of a stretch (he's essentially playing his 40-Year-Old Virgin character after a few years of marriage), but he's still a delight. Postmakeover, we do see another side of him: the confident Cal who's trying to move on. Many of Cal's actions are played for laughs, but those laughs are procured because his experience feels so real. Cal's accrued laziness after being with the same person for years, his inability to communicate during the breakup, his fear of putting himself out there and being vulnerable - Carell captures it all in a fully relatable way.

The rest of the cast keeps up the quality; Stone turns in a hilarious performance, as does Marisa Tomei in a small but scene-stealing role. Moore is her usual superb self, and Tipton, whom you may recognize from America's Next Top Model, is surprisingly good. With so many characters and so much ground to cover, the movie verges on being a little long. But it's packed with so many different kinds of scenes - from the heartbreaking to the mortifying to the breathtakingly romantic - that it all feels necessary.

Crazy, Stupid, Love is the kind of movie that brings out your inner cornball, and unlike other romantic comedies, it doesn't make you feel crazy or stupid for feeling that way.

In the movie, Steve gets a lesson in lady killing from Ryan's character. Steve revealed that it was just good acting, though, from both himself and Ryan! Steve also spoke about moving on from his Emmy-nominated role as Michael Scott in The Office. Steve Carell's got a new movie hitting theaters this week in Crazy, Stupid, Love, and apparently the actor wanted the world to know that he - and not Ryan Gosling - is the true star of the film. In the latest from the folks at Funny or Die, we bear witness to a meeting between Carell and execs regarding the poster art for the film. Most notably, the fact that Carell won't settle for anything less than having the biggest head on the one-sheet. It's a pretty hilarious skit, mostly when you realize that most of Carell's movies really do largely feature his noggin on the poster art. Watch!
