Bidding Has Started for Role in Will Ferrell Movie

Will Ferrell is auctioning off a cameo in his next movie and donating the proceeds to a friend's cancer foundation. Two-time Hodgkin's disease survivor Craig Pollard was a fraternity brother of Ferrell's back in the day, and now Ferrell is helping his buddy raise money for Pollard's organization Cancer for College.

The charity helps send current and former cancer patients to college. Since 1993, it has awarded $200,000 to 50 cancer survivors.

Bidding has already begun on the eBay, starting with $5,000, and it will close September 26. As of now, the current bid is up to $16,000. On September 27, Ferrell will announce the winner who will appear in a scene of his comedy Step Brothers.

Ferrell has especially been encouraging parents to bid and win their children the most exciting early Christmas gift ever. "It is the surefire way to win the parent of the year award," Ferrell said. "Support this amazing cause, by buying them me."

I love this guy. What a cool thing to do, using your popularity and star power to both award some crazy fan as well as raise money for a worthy cause that is close to his heart. Hopefully this will inspire other stars to get creative with their fame and continue to do good deeds.

Gwyneth Paltrow Parties With Jay-Z, Kanye, Chris, and More in London

London's DSTRKT club was the spot for Jay-Z and Kanye West's star-studded Watch the Throne afterparty last night. The rappers performed at the O2 Arena before meeting up with their famous friends to celebrate. Gwyneth Paltrow and husband Chris Martin came out for the bash, as did their pal Stella McCartney. Gwyneth and Chris's kids, Apple and Moses, got in on the fun earlier when they watched the concert with their mom. Rihanna also stepped out to party during an especially exciting weekend since her Battleship hit theaters on Friday. Kanye's girlfriend Kim Kardashian was on hand, along with her brother Rob, who had his girlfriend and Jay-Z protégé, Rita Ora, by his side. It was the second night out for the foursome, after they shared a double date at Zuma last week. Jay-Z and Kanye have three more shows in the UK before heading to Manchester.

Prince Harry Travels in a Tuxedo Following a Special Evening

Prince Harry was escorted through the Dulles International Airport before he caught a flight out of Washington DC yesterday. He wore an unbuttoned tuxedo for the travels after also dressing up on Monday to accept a special award from the Atlantic Council. Prince Harry received the Distinguished Humanitarian Leadership Award for his work with veterans.

Back at home in London last night, his brother Prince William stepped out at another special event. William gave a speech at a meeting of the Thirty Club at Claridge's hotel. William had wife Kate Middleton, who stunned in a slitted Roland Mouret gown, by his side. The royal couple will be back in the public eye on Friday, when they attend the Our Greatest Team Rises gala.

Paralympian April Holmes Making a Name as a Winner

April Holmes may have lost part of her leg, but the Paralympics star refuses to be seen as handicapped. She's on a quest to finish what she started in 2008 and come home with two medals in London. Follow more journeys to London on espnW.com.

April Holmes was in first place during the 200-meter final at the 2008 Paralympics in Beijing when the spike on her prosthetic left leg got caught on the track, causing her to fall to the ground. Another competitor stepped on Holmes' face with a track spike. Holmes also caused Marie-Amelie le Fur of France to fall. Despite a right eye filled with blood and a bruised leg, Holmes hobbled to the finish line to complete the race. "I have this thing about finishing whatever you start, so despite my condition I was going to cross the finish line," she wrote in her blog.

Five days later, despite being sore and tired, Holmes raced in the 100-meter final. Her leg and hips hurt so much she could barely warm up. She even told her competitors they were going to win the race. "I could barely lift my leg, but I never let [my family] know," Holmes said. "They would be too concerned and I didn't need the pity party. Instead, I needed energy and God." As Holmes likes to say it was "by the grace of God," that she crossed the finish line to win gold in the 100 in 13.72 seconds. That's three seconds slower than the able-body Olympic record held by Florence Griffith-Joyner. Holmes would later discover she did it all with a labral tear in her left hip.

Holmes was elated with her first gold, but on the flight home she couldn't help but think she should have two medals around her neck. That's why she began training two months later for the 2012 Games. Her goal is to claim the 200 medal that eluded her in Beijing.

Before the Paralympics - where she became the fastest amputee in her class, holding world records in the 100, 200 and 400 - Holmes was an All-American in the 400 and 4x400 relay at Norfolk State. After graduation she started working and gave up competitive athletics.

Grey's Anatomy Rundown, "The Lion Sleeps Tonight"

The doctors are in the lion's den on this week's episode of Grey's Anatomy, and not just in the figurative sense. A lion attack gets the surgeons in a tizzy (and gives Derek and Meredith a good story to tell). Owen gets himself into even hotter water when he puts his foot in his mouth, and Teddy manages to insult a group of widows.

The biggest development of the episode is what could have been with Lexie and Mark, but without the climax, it's a bit of a dull episode. Let's break it down when you

A week has elapsed since Owen came clean to Cristina about his cheatin' ways, and Cristina has been giving him the silent treatment ever since (oh, how the tables have turned in this situation). Desperate to figure out what to do, Owen turns to Meredith assuming she's attuned to the situation, but - oops - his talk of his affair is news to Meredith. Infuriated, she's super icy toward him during surgery, and afterward she tells him that the fact that Cristina didn't tell her is a good sign. Bailey overhears the conversation and is pretty understanding, but when Owen gets home, Cristina throws her dinner in his face. Ouch.
Lexie continues to wrestle with her feelings for Mark, and this week's mania is ignited when she overhears Mark telling Derek that he might ask Julia to move in with him. (Is it just me, or does five months seem a bit soon to be taking such a big step?) Of course, Lexie wigs out and even pesters Derek for help, playing the big brother-in-law card. Derek resists initially but then softens up, telling Lexie that she still has a chance, but needs to be absolutely sure of her feelings before she ruins Mark's relationship. Of course, the episode culminates in a Lexie / Mark elevator encounter, and Lexie totally chickens out. I almost screamed at my TV at this point; after all the whining Lexie has been doing this season, now she's balking?
Teddy takes a big step and joins a grief group, but it doesn't exactly help her deal with Henry's death right away. In fact, she essentially starts bullying one of the other widows before assuring everyone that she doesn't need counseling. Of course, it's all a facade: after an elderly patient passes away while her husband is in surgery, Teddy begins to try to accept the fact that she's no different from the other widows in her group.
Worried that his relationship with Morgan is getting too . . .relationshippy, Alex asks Arizona to let him off the case. Morgan is furious, especially when Arizona presents her with a brutal decision regarding her infant son's life. Arizona applauds Alex for staying professional, but I thought Alex was being a bit harsh (though it's totally typical Alex behavior). Somehow, I still don't think this is the last we've seen of Morgan, though.

What do you think lies ahead for Owen and Cristina? It looks like next week his lady friend will be unmasked, but will his relationship be able to recover?

Chris Hemsworth and Pregnant Elsa Pataky Have a Leisurely London Afternoon

Chris Hemsworth and his wife Elsa Pataky stopped by a farmers market in London on Saturday. The couple is expecting their first child together, and announced Elsa's pregnancy in January. Following the news, Elsa showed off her pregnant belly in a bikini during a Caribbean getaway with pals Matt and Luciana Damon. The fun will soon be focused towards work when Chris hits the promotional road in preparation for the Summer release of Snow White and the Huntsman. Prince Harry Hits the Club Amid Rumors of a Reconnection With Chelsy Davy

Prince Harry hit the clubs in London on Saturday night. He was seen heading out to a car following a late one at the city's Le Baron outpost. The prince has reunited with some of his favorite UK hot spots following his successful tour of Latin and South America on behalf of his grandmother's upcoming Diamond Jubilee. It didn't take long for Harry to return to the partying once he got back to England in mid-March. Now, though, he has an extra reason to celebrate - his brother Prince William is back from the Falklands! Harry also might have pep in his step thanks to developments with his ex Chelsy Davy. Harry and Chelsy Davy were close at a recent event, prompting some to think they'd reconciled. However, they're apparently just good friends as Chelsy's now dating Harry's friend Blaise Patrick.

Scarlett Johansson Spends a Girls' Day Out in Paris

Scarlett Johansson spent the afternoon exploring the Marais district in Paris yesterday with a pair of female friends. The actress appeared to be enjoying a break from work before she begins her press tour for The Avengers next month. Scarlett was seen relaxing on the lawn at the Place des Vosges square, shopping at the high-end boutique L'Eclaireur, and visiting an exhibit at the Swedish Institute. The star was bundled up in a tweed coat and scarf for the chilly Parisian weather and was without her most recent love interest Nate Naylor during her day in the city. The pair were spotted getting cozy in NYC in January and also took a weeklong vacation to Hawaii together in February, but they haven't yet stepped out publicly. Instead, Scarlett brought her little brother as her date for her latest photo op, at a fundraiser for Barack Obama in the Big Apple last month.
