Yesterday's Patriots-Giants game was the most-watched Super Bowl ever with 97.5 million viewers, the Associated Press reports.
Speaking of the Super Bowl, the Arcade Fire apparently didn't give permission for their song to be used in an ad for NFL on Fox, Pitchfork reports.
A Jim Henson biopic titled Henson is now in the works, though casting hasn't yet begun, writes ComingSoon.
E! Online has news that the Spice Girls will wrap their world tour later this month, canceling dates in China, Australia, South Africa and Argentina.
Variety reports that Robert Englund, mostly known as the man who played Freddie Krueger in A Nightmare on Elm Street, will direct The Vij, "a dark gothic fantasy in which Christopher Lee is attached to star."

Sarah Michelle Gellar hasn't signed on yet for the Buffy reunion at the Paley Festival, the LA Times reports (update! She will be attending after all); the festival will also include panels for Friday Night Lights, Damages, and Chuck, among others.

What's Buzzworthy: CDs You're Ashamed to Own

A lot of you dug through your treasure troves of nostalgic CDs this week for this week's Buzzworthy challenge on the albums you're ashamed you own. There were some great shameful CDs picked - but of course, as you all reminded me, there's really no shame in liking music that reminds you of a particular time or place. Even if it is O-Town.

I did look for it last year because I wanted to be a cheese ball and sing along to 'It's Tearing Up My Heart,' but I think someone threw it away. Of course I didn't ask anyone if they did, it's sad that I bought it in the first place."

G.I. Joe: The Rise of the Cobra

Many of you said that you weren't psyched to see the slick action update on the classic toy in theaters, but perhaps you'll feel differently now that it is available to watch at home. G.I. Joe has that loud, flashy, blockbuster appeal which can make for a perfect weekend rental - even if it's pretty much mindless entertainment. (Plus, I know how much you love Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Channing Tatum!) Bonus: If you're a CGI geek, the special two-disc version includes a behind-the-scenes look at the special effects.

I Love You Beth Cooper
Hayden Panettiere stars as the title character - the hottest girl in school and long-time crush of the film's nerdy hero, Denis. When Denis wins class valedictorian, he uses his graduation speech to profess his love to Beth. Lucky for him, the act of courage works in his favor, and Beth shows up at his house. You can pretty much guess what happens from there - her boyfriend is not pleased, threatens to beat Denis up, etc. - but the DVD features an alternate ending to spice things up. Critics panned its release, but if you're a devotee of the teen sex comedy genre, then this is one to put on your viewing checklist.

Ever wondered where the meal on your plate really comes from? Food Inc. is a documentary that breaks down America's food industry step by step - from the farms where it's produced, to the big brother-like companies that monopolize it, to the supermarket. It's an interesting - albeit frightening - insider's peek that is packed with expert info. (Even my health guru, FitSugar, gave it her stamp of approval.) Consider this your brain food for the week - but if I were you, I'd refrain from eating while you're watching it.

Do You Think Robin and Barney Will Make It as a Real Couple?

The season premiere of How I Met Your Mother, "Definitions," made good on its promise (gleaned from my sneak peek) to show Robin and Barney as an actual couple. Alas, long-awaited relationships are rarely smooth sailing in sitcom land, and in this episode, Robin and Barney haven't yet established what they are, though the last scene was optimistic about their status. (Were you lost? Brush up with my season four quiz.)

Usually having a couple get together and be happy can be boring for TV shows, but it has worked for Jim and Pam on The Office. Meanwhile, on Gossip Girl, the writers felt the need as early as the premiere to spice things up for Chuck and Blair so people won't get bored watching them.

Do you think HIMYM's writers will give us what we want and let Robin and Barney be happy together? And even if you like them together, is a happy relationship what you want to see?
