Do You Still Want to See a Sequel to Sin City?

News of a Sin City sequel has been floating around pretty much since the movie's release in 2005, but very little has happened since then. That may change, though, since director Robert Rodriguez recently remarked that he's still hoping to make Sin City 2, saying "We have a script. . . a rewritten script that we still have to write and it's just finding the right time slot to do it."

I enjoyed the gritty graphic novel adaptation and mega-watt cast (Clive Owen, Rosario Dawson, and Jessica Alba were just some of the marquee names), so a sequel made sense . . . in 2005. Are audiences still hungry, years later, to see a follow-up? I don't know if I am anymore. Are you?

The Spirit Gets a New Trailer

The new trailer for the upcoming film The Spirit brings fans of Sin City back to the world of Frank Miller and his surreal,
noir-ish style. The description of the plot (based on a popular comic by Will Eisner) on IMDB is this: "Rookie cop Denny Colt returns from the beyond as The Spirit, a hero whose mission is to fight against the bad forces in Central City."

In the trailer we find a man in a Zorro-like mask (Because I Said So's Gabriel Macht) being tormented by the hot women in his world who all seem to want to have sex with him. . . or something. But apparently, this is a bad thing. And then Samuel L. Jackson storms across the screen in several crazy get-ups that include something of a Nazi uniform.

In other words: It's probably just the thing you'd expect from this director and I think his fans will be pleased.

The movie also stars Scarlett Johansson, Eva Mendes, and Jaime King and will be released in theaters on December 25. To see the new trailer for yourself,

Music Video: Timbaland Feat. the Hives, "Throw It On Me"

Yes, Timbaland and The Hives are a very unlikely pair. But "Throw It On Me," the collaboration between the hip-hop producer and the Swedish rock band on Timbaland Presents Shock Value, is actually pretty awesome. Now here's something even awesomer and weirder: the music video for "Throw It On Me," which pays homage to the film Sin City.

If you're confused about what these three things have to do with one another, well, so am I. But that doesn't make the video any less fun to watch. It's so oddly fitting, in fact, that "Throw It On Me" begins to seem like the perfect soundtrack to the movie. So check out the video when you

Chanel threw a fashionable dinner to celebrate the opening night of Numéro Privés at the Wynn Hotel in Las Vegas on Friday. The attendees included Jessica Alba, Rachel Zoe, Diane Kruger, Alexa Chung, and Brad Goreski. Diane got glam in a sequin-embroidered number, while Jessica wore a black and white silk dress to pose alongside her husband Cash Warren. Jessica's fun night out followed a busy business week that saw the launch of her new eco-friendly home products line, The Honest Company. Rachel and Rodger Berman took the quick trip to Sin City while their pals Joey Maalouf and Mandana Dayani took care of their son Skyler. Jessica and the rest of the stylish crowd kept the action going with an afterparty at 1Oak, where they hung out until after midnight.

J Lo Sees a Vegas Show With Casper as Idol Has a Disappointing Debut

Jennifer Lopez met Cirque Du Soleil stars from their show O in Las Vegas last night. She's in Sin City filming American Idol but decided to take the night off to see a show with boyfriend Casper Smart. Jennifer and Casper seem to be going strong, and he's even spoken out about their 18-year age differences. Casper tweeted, "Our ages are mere reminders of the hours logged on this earth and the precious time remaining. . . We should all honor our time here by indulging our passion and dreams. So, close your ears and open your hearts; Love and be happy!" J Lo later retweeted his sentiments to her 4.3 million followers.

American Idol returned for its 11th season on Wednesday night. However, the debut failed to post the impressive ratings seen in the past. The drop in Idol ratings isn't a complete loss, though. J Lo and her cohosts Steven Tyler, Randy Jackson, and Ryan Seacrest are still winning their primetime time slot.

Britney and Jason Keep Close in NYC Following Their Preholiday Engagement

Britney Spears and Jason Trawick stopped at a convenience story in NYC today, and Britney's sparkling engagement ring was in view as they left holding hands. Jason proposed to Britney on Dec. 15, just a few days before they headed to Vegas to celebrate his 40th birthday. The happy pair showed off Britney's Neil Lane stunner during their stay in Sin City, posing for pictures at a party they hosted at Planet Hollywood.

The trip to Nevada was one of many the duo took together in 2011. Jason was close by Britney's side for most of the year, along with her sons, Sean Preston and Jayden James, as she toured the world. She closed her Femme Fatale concert series in Puerto Rico on Dec. 12, and her boys, Jason, and her mother joined her on stage for the last song in the final show. Jason waited until the family was back in LA before popping the question, however, and Britney quickly hinted at their exciting news on Twitter before the duo officially confirmed their plans to wed.

Britney Spears stepped out of a Las Vegas hotel tonight wearing her beautiful Neil Lane engagement ring. The newly engaged star and her fiancé, Jason Trawick, are in Sin City to celebrate his 40th birthday. Britney and Jason arrived on a private jet earlier in the evening, though she managed to keep her custom-designed sparkler concealed under a pair of gloves.

Upon their arrival, Britney and Jason slipped out of their travel gear and a few hours later were spotted modeling festive attire and bright smiles. Britney and Jason dined at the Sugar Factory American Brasserie then made their way to Planet Hollywood's roof top club where Britney showed off her ring and Jason cut into a birthday cake. Her rep confirmed the engagement reports, and Britney updated her Facebook relationship status to "engaged."
