Kellan Lutz and Ashley Greene popped up to San Francisco yesterday for a fan event where they joked about shaving Robert Pattinson's head and what vampires smell like. Oh, the Cuteness: Feist on Sesame Street

"One two three four, monsters walking across the floor. I love counting, counting to the number four. . . Whoaaaa-uh-oh, we're counting to four!" I honestly don't believe it gets any cuter than those lyrics that Feist changed ever so slightly from her big hit song "1 2 3 4" for her appearance on Sesame Street.

It's such a natural fit seeing the talented singer strolling along that famous childhood street with muppets bouncing along with her, equally excited about counting to four. And so, Sesame Street just gets that much more awesome.

This video is pure joy. It also reminded me that counting actually is fun, and that there was a time when figuring out math problems using my fingers didn't make me look like an idiot.

According to Variety, the Weinsteins are making a bunch of their movies into stage musicals, starting with Finding Neverland, and later including Shakespeare in Love, Chocolat and Cinema Paradiso, among others.
Kevin Bacon is joining Renee Zellweger and Chris Noth in My One and Only, writes ComingSoon.
Sarah Silverman, Niecy Nash, Rashida Jones, and Norm McDonald are among the panelists for TBS's new version of Match Game, writes the Hollywood Reporter.
Annoyed with how slowly MTV has been moving on their movie, Motley Crue is looking for a new partner to help them get the project done, Billboard reports.

Wilmer Valderrama will star in a one-hour comedy pilot for Fox called The Emancipation of Ernesto, writes MediaWeek.
Viral video director Wayne McClammy is on a roll: in addition to directing Cool School, he just sold a comedy script to MGM and will most likely direct that one as well. According to Variety, his movie is titled Le Car and follows "an unconventional group of CIA agents."
The AP has the news that a whole slew of Hollywood folks will be getting stars on the Walk of Fame next year, like Robert Downey Jr., Ben Kingsley, Felicity Huffman, Tim Burton, Cameron Diaz and The Village People.
The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has altered the rules for the Oscars so that "the Original Song category will only allow a maximum of two nominated songs from any one film," so movies like Enchanted or Dreamgirls won't dominate the category, Zap2It writes.
TV Guide points out that the Sesame Street guest stars for next season - Jessica Alba, David Beckham, and Heidi Klum, among them - are pretty darn hot for a kids' show.

When Did "Sesame Street" Get So Awesome?

OK, so "Sesame Street" has always been pretty great, what with the lovable characters that made it your favorite educational program (not to mention its multiple Daytime Emmy Awards). But this announcement about the upcoming season of "Sesame Street" is both cracking me up and making me wish I had an excuse to watch this show every day.

Maybe I just missed it when I was a kid just trying to figure out my letters and numbers, but I had no idea "Sesame Street" was so darn clever. In addition to guest appearances by Tina Fey, Jon Stewart and Ellen DeGeneres, the new season will apparently be full of pop-culture spoofs, including:

"Meal or No Meal"
"A's Anatomy"
"GNN," a news network with grumpy co-anchors Walter Cranky and Dan Rather-Not

Hmm, maybe the "Saturday Night Live" writers could learn a thing or two from Big Bird and friends ...

The 2007 Daytime Emmy Award Winners

Everyone will miss dear old Bob Barker now that he's officially done hosting "The Price Is Right," but perhaps the pathway is cleared for someone else to win the Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Game Show Host, since Barker just took home his 19th award. Another popular winner at the 34th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards this year was "Sesame Street," which won Outstanding Pre-School Children's Series along with two awards for Outstanding Performer in a Children's Series (Elmo and Oscar the Grouch). Hey, it's not your favorite kids' educational program for nothing.

Happily, "The Ellen Degeneres Show" won not once, but twice - taking home awards for Outstanding Talk Show Host as well as for Outstanding Talk Show. Paula Deen also took home two awards, for both Outstanding Lifestyle Program ("Paula's Home Cooking") and Oustanding Lifestyle Host. I like Paula well enough, but I think I'm more of a Giada De Laurentiis ("Everyday Italian") kind of gal.

The Office, "Murder": Best Lines of the Night and Video!

Well, I do declare! This week's The Office was silly good fun. Distraught over rumors of bankruptcy, Michael suggests that the employees engage in a murder mystery game called Belles, Bourbon and Bullets to keep their spirits up. Pam's recent bad attitude seems to lift as she gets into character, and Andy uses the opportunity to ask Erin on a date. (I can't wait for when those two finally hook up!)

Ready to take a look at some of my favorite quips from the episode (and share your own in the comments)?

Jim: "With all due respect to everyone here, I think the most worthy opponent of you is you."
Dwight: "That is correct. Unless there happen to be measles present."
How awesomely ridiculous is the opening scene where Dwight tries to fight himself during his own karate instructional?! That right there is why Rainn Wilson gets nominated for Emmys.

Check out Erin delivering yet another great quote this week! I'm curious to see what the writers do with her character, especially now that they're setting up this will-they-or-won't-they thing with Andy that's slightly reminiscent of another Office couple.

"You can all have jobs at Schrute farms as human scarecrows. It doesn't pay much, and you can't unionize."-Dwight
Leave it to Dwight to concoct a plan when news of the company's money loss hits the Scranton branch.

"Operation got me through my vasectomy, i.e. my operation. I don't think I would've been able to endure my breakup with Holly had it not been for Toss Across."-Michael
Michael explains his use of board games as a coping mechanism to Jim, but my favorite part is when he plays "Lullaby" by Sean Mullins on his computer to wallow in his sadness. Anyone else remember that song? Love the '90s nostalgia!

Kevin: "Now do the Swedish Chef."
Andy: "I'm not familiar, what province is he from?"
Kevin: "He lives on Sesame Street, dumbass."
Andy does such a good job with his Savannah accent using his "molasses" technique that oddball Kevin asks him to talk like the Swedish Chef from Sesame Street. But I have to mention Creed -I was dying when he shows up to the office, hears about the "murder," and speeds off in his car! Also, kudos to the crime scene with Meredith and to Oscar for putting on the strangest accent I have ever heard. Check him out in this video:

Sad thing is, Michael's probably telling the truth.

So what's your assessment of the evening? It sounds like there are tough times ahead for everyone, since David Wallace says the company will be out of money by the end of the year.
