I'm a huge fan of the Autumn months, so I'm excited that it's almost October. Still, September is one of my favorite months, as it always seems to signify - even now, years after school has been over for me - new beginnings and new possibilities. I like that there's a chill in the air, but it's not so sharp that you need the big puffy coat. It's almost holiday season, but it's not yet time to enter into the stressful frenzy of shopping and preparing. So, to mark the ending of this first Fall month, I've put together a little September playlist. To enjoy,

I know there are two versions of "September Song" here, but that song has been covered by pretty much everyone, and I could only narrow down my favorites to these two!

The Best Indoor Workout Classes (Because It's Freezing Outside!)

We are pumped to share one of our favorite stories from Self here on FitSugar!

There are lots (and I mean, lots) of reasons why my motivation to work out during the Winter plummets - from the snowy commute to freezing cold winds to the cold, dry air that hits my chest with such force that it becomes hard to breathe. (Ahem, there's a reason I sign up for races that are after September - this born-and-raised Floridian prefers to train outdoors during the Summer.)

But it is possible to sculpt, strengthen, and sweat (majorly sweat) without having to be freezing cold during the winter. So when the weather outside is frightful, head indoors for these top full-body workouts that will help ward off Winter weight:

Indoor cycling: Ruth Zukerman, cofounder of NYC's FlyWheel cycling studio, is heating things up indoors with her 45-minute, heart-racing classes. (Self favorite Jillian Michaels is even a recent investor in the company). "I wanted to be part of the most innovative and effective indoor cycling program, and that is FlyWheel. I am thrilled to join the FlyWheel team," Michaels said in a press release. What makes cycling such an effective alternative is that it's taking the fun full-body workout people love indoors, and instead of scenery, you'll stay motivated to challenge yourself thanks to encouraging instructors and a killer playlist. Flywheel has an awesome on-bike technology board that lets you compete against other riders in the class. Plus if you're looking to shape up before hitting the slopes, "indoor cycling is great preparation for all Winter sports, especially skiing and snowboarding. I know from personal experience that when I hit the slopes I don't tire out easily or suffer from the kind of après-ski muscle pain that most people do, and it's because of indoor cycling," Zukerman says.

Try this move: If you're riding an exercise bike at home or the gym, try some interval training. One thing we often do at Flywheel is a "Sprint Chorus," meaning we increase our RPMs to a sprint during the song's chorus and then revert to a cadence on the beat of the music as the chorus ends.

Kate Moss and Jamie Hince Join Stella McCartney to Celebrate Paul McCartney's Big Day

Kate Moss wore a sparkly sheath dress as she joined Jamie Hince, as well as her longtime friend Stella McCartney and her husband Alasdhair Willis, for Paul McCartney's wedding this weekend. Paul and Nancy Shevell tied the knot in front of friends and family yesterday in London before heading out for their honeymoon today. Paul even penned a special song for Nancy that he performed during the festivities. It's been a celebratory few weeks for the McCartneys overall, with Stella marking her 40th birthday with not one, but two, big bashes. Kate Hudson and Gwyneth Paltrow were on hand for the first party in mid-September in London, while Gwen Stefani showed up for the second soiree there last week - Kate Moss, for her part, made the scene at both events in honor of her fashionable friend.

Beyoncé Knowles Sparkles in InStyle to Chat Babies, Marriage, and Jersey Shore

Beyoncé Knowles struck a pose for the September 2011 issue of InStyle, which is on newsstands Friday. The superstar is doing the press rounds to chat up her latest album, 4, and has been in NYC performing a string of shows at the Roseland Ballroom. A reviewer was highly complimentary of her Sunday concert, writing in The New York Times, "She is thunder, Beyoncé is. Fire and quake. A thing that can't quite be contained. There is not any better advertisement for Beyoncé than Beyoncé herself, a hard worker who makes effort look like the most glamorous thing in the world." Beyoncé herself spoke about her work in the magazine, also touching on why she took time off and how she's ready to have a family with husband Jay-Z. Jay has his own music to celebrate with the release of Watch the Throne, and he was off in Miami over the weekend dropping $300,000 on a party at the Fontainebleau. Beyoncé revealed more about herself, including a love of TV that includes Jersey Shore. She said:

On why she slowed down her career: "It was difficult. I had to turn down great things, but I did it for my sanity, my life, my relationships, my nephew, my husband, my sister, and my friendships. I deserved to give myself time to focus on things besides performing, filming, and recording."
On starting a family: "I sacrificed so much as a kid and as a teenager. I have no regrets because my job kept me focused. When you're young - 18 or 19 - you have the energy and drive. That's the time to work as hard as you can. Now I'm a woman, and because I gave it my all, I can focus on my marriage. I can decide I want to have kids. I can be the mother I want to be and dedicate myself to my children. I want to make my job a part of my lifestyle so that I always enjoy what I'm doing."
On her guilty pleasures: "In my free time I prefer to do nothing but sit on the couch and watch TV. I have to confess that my guilty pleasure is Jersey Shore. I love going to the movies and to Broadway plays too. When I get home, the first thing I do is take off my stilettos!"
On a surprising fact about her: "You might be surprised to know that the last thing I want to hear at a club is one of my own songs. I get so uncomfortable. It's that awkward moment when you know that everyone is watching you to see if you're gonna bust a move to your own song."

They're here! The September 2011 issue of Vogue features all the exclusive Mario Testino-lensed pictures from Kate Moss's July wedding. Kate and her now-husband Jamie Hince posed for romantic photos on their big day, and the magazine also features rare images of Kate with her daughter Lila - Kate usually goes to great lengths to keep her child out of the spotlight. Kate went on to speak about their wedding planner, Sam Gainsbury, and the 138 guests, 39 of which were kids, at their ceremony in Southrop, England. The couple apparently left the church to the Rolling Stones song, "You Can’t Always Get What You Want." Kate told Hamish Bowles about what motivated her and Jamie to tie the knot, her mild case of bridal fever, and more. She said:

On deciding to get married: "We were just so loved up, and he asked me to marry him every day. . . . [The show Big Fat Gypsy Wedding changed everything] . . . I am so romantic about gypsies. They’re not allowed to do anything until they get married. So they all get married really young, at 16. You can’t believe the dresses. They’re like blinging butterflies times 10; they can’t move down the aisle! It’s so genius. I was just watching Jamie, so cute, and I was like, these girls, they just spend their whole life waiting for that day - let’s do it!"

Because you have to look at every piece of cutlery; the details are intense. And then you wake up thinking about the ballet shoes for the girls; is the satin ribbon right? I’ve gone mental. Jamie thinks I’m mad, asking, ‘Are you gonna be all right? After the wedding, I’m hoping you’ll get back to normal!'"

Kate Moss snuck in a kiss with her new husband, Jamie Hince, after dinner at Sydney's Duke restaurant this evening. They were off to the first of Jamie's two shows with The Kills in the city and afterward retired to the Flinders Hotel bar for the band's afterparty. It was an emotional performance for Jamie and his singer Alison Mosshart, as they dedicated one of their songs to their late friend Amy Winehouse. Kate and Jamie arrived in the country on Saturday, and she thrilled locals by immediately heading out to shop in the Paddington neighborhood. Jamie, Kate, and Alison will likely be together for The Kills's dates at Sydney's Metro Theatre before another in Melbourne and, finally, the Splendour in the Grass festival Friday in Queensland. The latter concert will give Kate and Jamie a chance to see their pal Kanye West, who is rumored to have declined an invite to play at their wedding due to previous commitments. Kate and Jamie's ceremony will be on display in September's Vogue, and there might be more of a treat in the issue's pages. It's been reported that Kate Moss did a wedding gown shoot for the magazine too as a complement to the pages of Mario Testino photos exclusively of her and Jamie's celebrations.

Beyoncé Tells Complex She's "Very Comfortable in the Throne"

Beyoncé Knowles is on the cover of Complex's August/September issue, which will hit newsstands on Aug. 9. She's in the middle of a Summer media blitz that's included live performances in NYC and Europe to promote her latest album, 4. Inside the magazine, Beyoncé spoke about her husband, Jay-Z, and rumors she's feuding with other female artists. Stay tuned for next week's I'm a Huge Fan series starring Beyoncé and our lucky contest winner, but, for now, here's what she had to say:

Beyoncé on Jay-Z: "Jay's music is more than music. His lyrics have fathered generations . . . All that he has overcome gives millions so much hope. There are moments when I see his lips moving and I can see lyrics floating above his head and I think, 'Wow! How did I get so lucky to be able to witness this level of genius so closely?'"
Beyoncé on sharing the spotlight with other female artists: "There is room on this earth for many queens . . . I have an authentic, God-given talent, drive, and longevity that will always separate me from everyone else. I've been fortunate to accomplish things that the younger generation of queens dream of accomplishing. I have no desire for anyone else's throne. I am very comfortable in the throne I've been building for the past 15 years."
Beyoncé on motivation: "Whenever I feel bad, I use that feeling to motivate me to work harder . . . I only allow myself one day to feel sorry for myself. People who complain really get on my nerves. When I'm not feeling my best I ask myself, 'What are you gonna do about it?' I use the negativity to fuel the transformation into a better me."
Beyoncé on creating hits: "I've found that with hit records the melody and lyrics come together [naturally] . . . I usually know from the hook if the song is something that transcends language, race, and genre, and if it's something that affects pop culture. It's something I can visualize people singing in stadiums all over the world. But my favorite songs on my albums are usually not my singles."

Alicia Keys Strolls NYC With Baby Egypt and His Big Brother Kassem

Alicia Keys stepped out in NYC yesterday to take a walk with her young son Egypt and his older brother Kassem. Egypt and Kassem's dad, Swizz Beatz, had to skip out on the stroll, since he was off working in the Bronx. Swizz visited the community development group The Point for an unveiling from The Bronx Charter School 4 Arts. Alicia, meanwhile, has been taking time to work on new music and recently shared a glimpse at what's inspiring her currently. There was some traveling over the last few months, as she embarked on a short tour to promote the June re-release of her Songs in A Minor album. She's also on the long roster of stars who will perform at the iHeartRadio show in late September in Las Vegas, along with Nicki Minaj, John Mayer, and Usher.

John Mayer threw on a black jacket and headed out for lunch at LA's Madeo yesterday. The singer's been keeping a relatively low profile the past few months with minimal blog posts and public appearances, but all of that is about to change with news that he's one of the many headlining acts expected to rock Las Vegas during September's IHeartRadio music festival. The two-day event will also bring out Coldplay, Lady Gaga, J Lo, Alicia Keys, Carrie Underwood, and Usher. It doesn't seem John will use the occasion to make a return to Twitter. The subject of not tweeting came up during John Mayer's speech at the Berklee College of Music recently. He said, "I realized about a year ago that I couldn't have a complete thought anymore, and I was a tweetaholic . . . I had four million Twitter followers, and I was always writing on it. And I stopped using Twitter as an outlet and I started using Twitter as the instrument to riff on, and it started to make my mind smaller and smaller and smaller. And I couldn't write a song." John ended his talk on a positive note. He told the students, "Anybody who's made it will tell you, you can make it. Anyone who hasn't made it will tell you, you can't."
