Ryan Seacrest is a pro at steering a live broadcast and keeping the Idol judges panel on track. He sometimes veers into the lame joke territory, but mostly it's good fun.

So far, most of what Ryan Seacrest has touched has turned to entertainment gold — but will that be the case for Momma's Boys? The Seacrest-produced reality show, which is basically The Bachelor if the guys' moms were in the house, too, starts airing Dec. 16.

NBC might have made most of its big programming announcements early, but that doesn't mean the network is staying out of the spotlight entirely at this year's upfronts. Today, the network announced it will team with Ryan Seacrest for a dating show called Momma's Boys, in which a group of mothers will attempt to choose the appropriate mates for their eligible-bachelor sons.
According to NBC, the show will pose the ultimate question: "Who is really the most important woman in every man's life?"

It has been rumored that Denise Richards would get her own reality TV show for a while now, most notably back when Charlie Sheen was fighting her in court to prevent her from putting their kids on television. Well, apparently she won that battle because the reality show will move forward on E!, with Ryan Seacrest producing.
The show "will focus on Richards' life as a single mom (and tabloid staple) following her high-profile divorce."

But it's true: Ryan Seacrest will be producing "Tales from the Hoff," a scripted comedy for E! focusing on a fictional character who bears a striking resemblance to David Hasselhoff.
