There were lots of brilliant hues on the SAG Awards carpet yesterday evening, but the classic black and white gowns were what caught our attention. Angelina Jolie and Emma Stone were just a few of the ladies donning black for the evening, while Zoe Saldana, Rose Byrne, and Viola Davis nailed it in gorgeous white ensembles. Rose Byrne is no stranger to risk-taking looks, and her SAG Awards look was no different. The Bridesmaids actress hit the red carpet in a white embellished Elie Saab Couture jumpsuit covered in opaque sparkles. The deep V-neckline and draped bodice fits Rose perfectly, and her choice of accessories (a gold cuff and clutch) were simple and complementary. She wore her chestnut bob straight and sleek, and opted for a rosy pink blush and matching lips. Trendspotting: Not-So-Classic Oxford Collars

With all this recent talk about the oxford comma, we thought we'd shine some light on another very important oxford: the oxford collar. We saw the menswear-inspired look in the Spring and Resort collections at Louis Vuitton, Carven and Jason Wu, as well as on some supremely styled celebs - Rose Byrne paired her polka-dot collared shirt with slim-fitting black pants and pumps for a movie screening, while Jamie Chung stepped out at Sundance in a cool leopard pullover over a collared shirt and colored jeans. Finally, Fearne Cotton walked the streets of London in a laid-back chambray tunic-style top with black leggings and a cozy knit coat. Zoe Kravitz linked up with her X-Men: First Class cast-mates Lucas Till and Rose Byne to chat all about their Matthew Vaughn-directed blockbuster at a recent press day in NYC. Rose has already scored a hit with the Summer comedy Bridesmaids, but she, Lucas, and Zoe admitted that they're most excited about this movie hitting theaters. Zoe touched on her father, Lenny Kravitz's casting in The Hunger Games, saying that she was surprised to learn about his role as Cinna! She said, though, that she was perhaps the link to his getting the part, as he first met her costar and future Hunger Games lead Jennifer Lawrence on the X-Men set. Zoe further revealed that her boyfriend and costar, Michael Fassbender, was one of the biggest jokesters during the film's production! Check it out below.

The stars of X-Men: First Class rolled up to their premiere at NYC's Ziegfeld Theatre last night in a collection of vintage cars, perfect for the blockbuster set back in the '60s. Leading men Michael Fassbender and James McAvoy were dapper on the carpet following a long day of work at their press junket - stay tuned next week for our chat with the guys! January Jones covered up her baby bump in a blue and black Preen dress while Zoe Kravitz supported her longtime pal Alexander Wang in a gray velvet maxi. The cast was rounded out by Rose Byrne, Lucas Till, and Kevin Bacon, who fit a stop by The Late Show between afternoon interviews at the evening's screening. Rumored couple Zoe Kravitz and Michael Fassbender kept their distance on the carpet, posting with their many costars in between. The movie actually brought together another duo, since Jennifer Lawrence and Nicholas Hoult are apparently dating now, too! Jennifer and Nicholas, though, weren't able to attend yesterday's event. The X-Men family connections keep coming, with Zoe's dad Lenny now set to star in The Hunger Games with Jennifer.
