Romantic comedy When in Rome premieres Friday with an unusual conundrum — Josh Duhamel plays the handsome male lead opposite Kristen Bell, but he's not the only one after her heart: Dax Shepard, Danny DeVito, Jon Heder and Will Arnett are also in hot pursuit of Bell's character. I had the pleasure of sitting down with Will Arnett to talk about his role in the film as not-exactly-authentic Italian painter, Antonio. Watch what he had to say about playing the silly character, plus whether he'd ever want to play a leading man in a rom com.

Kristen Bell and Josh Duhamel jump into the roles of leading lady and leading man this Friday in romantic comedy When in Rome. Bell plays a single girl who finds herself wanted by many men for all the wrong reasons, except for one, played Duhamel (see the trailer here). I had the chance to sit down with the two adorable, wacky actors to chat about making the movie, working together, and even doing their own stunts.

The formula for a typical romantic comedy is simple: you need two attractive actors and a plot that makes enough sense to keep the audience's attention. Everything else is a variable (friends, setting, dialogue), but those first two basics are what determine a rom-com's success. For When in Rome, the casting of Kristen Bell and Josh Duhamel is a hit — but the plot, about a woman who unwittingly makes several men fall in love with her after stealing coins from a "fountain of love" — is a complete and utter miss.

Kristen Bell is just too gosh-darn adorable and endearing. The premise of her upcoming movie When in Rome is so silly and yet, I already might love it because she is so friggin' cute. In the romantic comedy she plays Beth, an ambitious New Yorker who, when in Rome, takes a few coins from a "fountain of love."

After passing Titanic last week as the highest grossing film of all time, Avatar continued to add to its box office tally over the weekend with a hefty $30 million. New films Edge of Darkness and When in Rome couldn't unseat James Cameron's phenomenon, as each took in a respective $17.1 million and $12 million for second and third place.
Rounding out the rest of the top five was Dwayne Johnson's kid comedy The Tooth Fairy with $10 million, and The Book of Eli with $8.7 million.
