For last Wednesday's Recast challenge, I chose a TV show that was recently made into a movie but would still make a great series if it were recast for modern audiences. That show, of course, is "Charlie's Angels," and you could use any sassy women you wanted with the exception of Drew, Cameron, and Lucy.
You guys had some great ideas: I loved Rockstar's choice of Kristen Bell to play Farrah Fawcett's Jill Munroe role, and Redsilkshoes cracked me up with her all-Jessicas cast.

"Growing Pains" started airing on Nick at Nite this weekend, so for last week's Recast challenge, I asked you guys to pick new actors for the roles Dr. and Mrs. Seaver, Mike and Carol, and, of course, Mike's sidekick, Boner. Many of you took it upon yourselves to cast the roles of siblings Ben and Chrissy Seaver, too, and I really admire that extra bit of effort!

For last week's Recast challenge, I had you guys to hunt for a great new lineup to fill the shoes of John Ritter, Suzanne Somers, and Joyce DeWitt on "Three's Company."
There were some really great ideas batted around, particularly for the Jack Tripper role. I loved RCLDesign Girl's casting of Tom Cavanagh and ControlledSpin's choice of Zach Braff.

The emotional roller coaster of So You Think You Can Dance begins! The dancers competed for the first time on Tuesday, and with the enthralling routines came the first two contestant eliminations. We're now down to 18 dancers, and I'm so happy and relieved to finally be in the throes of the competition.

It's Vegas week on So You Think You Can Dance, which means that the contestants who've gotten a ticket to Nevada get evaluated again before they get to go to LA.
All of the judges are on hand to watch the dancers try out different dance styles out of their comfort zones to see if they can be put through in the competition, and the high stakes mean the dancing is rigorous. It's stressful just watching talented people struggle with different dance genres, and many don't make it.

This week's ousted dancers from So You Think You Can Dance were the first to go since the top 20 were selected. Brandon Dumlao and Ariana Dubose got on the phone with a few reporters this morning, including me, to chat about how they feel after last night's elimination.
