R.E.M.'s older music is definitely a part of the soundtrack to my youth, so it's interesting, as an adult, to hear them make new music, like their latest tune, the fun and catchy "Supernatural Superserious."

Monday night seems like a strange time to celebrate rock and roll, but there was plenty of awesomeness at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame's annual induction ceremony, held last night at New York's Waldorf-Astoria Hotel. For the first time ever, the awards were broadcast live on TV, but if you missed the show on VH1 Classic, you can watch it on demand at AOL Music.
Jay-Z was on hand to induct hip-hop pioneers Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five, which he did by reading a speech off of his PDA.
