Oxygen's Talk Sex with Sue is ending this week, but its sassy 77-year-old host promises she'll keep giving lectures, the Associated Press reports.
AMC has renewed Breaking Bad for a 13-episode second season, writes the Hollywood Reporter.
According to Variety, Eva Mendes, Josh Hartnett and Ben Kingsley will topline Queen of the South (La reina del sur), an adaptation of the bestselling novel by Spanish author Arturo Perez Reverte.
The Screen Actors Guild and the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers have broken off talks without a contract, raising new fears about an actors' strike, TV Guide reports.
Madonna scored her seventh career No. 1 album this week, Billboard reports, with Mariah Carey coming in at No. 2 and Leona Lewis at No. 3.
Ugly Betty plans to move production from LA to New York City next season, writes Zap2it.
Samantha Morton and Woody Harrelson have joined Ben Foster and Jena Malone for the movie The Messenger, Variety writes.

Who Should Play the Lead in the Female Scarface?

Variety is reporting today that a director has been named for Queen of the South, a female-led adaptation of Scarface set in Spain. Though casting has not yet begun, three actresses are reportedly circling the juicy role: Eva Mendes, Jennifer Lopez and Penelope Cruz.
According to the article, the "story revolves around a Mexican woman who escapes to Spain after her drug mule boyfriend is killed, then becomes a drug kingpin and seeks revenge for her boyfriend's murderers."

To me, this sounds awesome. I'm sick of gangster movies relegating women to the roles of backstabbing girlfriends or dim-witted victims. As for the leading lady for Queen, which of these actresses can you see playing the part Al Pacino made so memorable? Who can wield a crazy gun screaming one of my favorite movie lines ever ("Say hullo to my little friend!")?

David Beckham and Prince Harry Meet Up For a Night of London Clubbing

David Beckham and his best friend Dave Gardner spent last night at what seems to be London's hottest spot, the Arts Club. Prince Harry was out as well to say hi to David, along with Princess Eugenie and the singer Katherine Jenkins. It was Harry and David's latest get-together. David visited with Harry when the latter went to LA for a weekend during his time in the US doing an Apache helicopter training course. Both good-looking British guys are looking forward to the Olympics, with David hoping to play for Great Britain's soccer team. Harry recently expressed an interest in doing a PR-friendly race against champion runner Usain Bolt while touring Latin and South America to promote his grandmother Queen Elizabeth's Diamond Jubilee.

The evening of fun came as a break from work for David. He traveled to London earlier this week to launch David Beckham bodywear for H&M, later celebrating the launch with his parents and his wife Victoria's mom and dad. David also spent an afternoon filming an ad for Adidas. Victoria, meanwhile, has her own new collections on the brain. She's gearing up for New York Fashion Week, where she'll actually have two presentations. In addition to her Victoria Beckham Collection, she's also showing Victoria by Victoria Beckham.

A Year of Royal Weddings

From England to Bhutan, royal couples around the world made things official this year. Prince William and Kate Middleton, who dated for about a decade, clearly take the crown for most anticipated wedding, but they were followed by a Summer of royal love.

Monaco's longtime bachelor ruler Prince Albert finally said "I do" to Charlene Wittstock in a lavish multiday event in July, despite rumors that the South African beauty tried to flee. And by August, royal watchers had their focus back on the UK, where the Queen's eldest granddaughter, Zara Phillips, married rugby player Mike Tindall in a Stewart Parvin frock and tiara from her mother, Princess Anne.

Come Fall, Spain's infamous 85-year-old billionaire Duchess of Alba married for the third time and Asia's former prince charming, King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck of Bhutan, wed fellow Oxford grad Ashi Jetsun Pema in a colorful ceremony. See a photo album of the year's regal weddings now!

Chelsy Davy Unwinds With a Friendly Dinner Ahead of the Royal Wedding

Chelsy Davy enjoyed a candlelight dinner with a group of pals in South London tonight. The blonde shared lots of laughs and looked relaxed during her evening out on the town, despite her role in what will be a historic event tomorrow. She will attend Prince William and Kate Middleton's wedding as her longtime on-and-off boyfriend Prince Harry's date! Chelsy is apparently wearing two different Alberta Ferretti dresses during the festivities, which will begin early in the morning and stretch well into the night. Meanwhile, reports that Kate has indeed selected a wedding dress by Alexander McQueen designer Sarah Burton have reached fever pitch. Today, a woman who resembles Sarah was spotted heading into Kate's hotel! Top Chef All-Stars Goes South

Last night's Top Chef All-Stars took things down South, and the butter and the drama were a-flying! The queen of butter herself, Paula Deen, guest judged and presented the cheftestants with the quickfire challenge: deep fry something, y'all! And Paula being Paula, she meant business: "I've deep fried mac and cheese, lasagna, chunks of butter," she told them. "No calamari sprinkled on top of a salad!"

Some of the chefs totally got the concept of Southern cooking, and some clearly didn't (how many times did Dale tell us he cooks Chinese food, not Southern?). Antonia made me nervous with her decision to do a fried shrimp salad (didn't you listen to Paula, Antonia?), but the end result was a decidedly un-salad-like combination of crispy fried shrimp and deep-fried avocado. Unfortunately, she totally spaced and only plated one dish, which prompted my favorite line of the night from Paula: "I could come over there, put you over my knee, and whip your cute little ass!"

Meanwhile, Mike and Richard were working on some chef drama of their own. Mike's fun and creative idea to fry up chicken oysters and serve them in oyster shells was apparently "inspired" by an idea in Richard's notebook. Richard was peeved, Mike was unapologetic, and it only got worse when Mike won the quickfire challenge for his dish! The house was totally abuzz with Mike's disregard for chef law, and Mike reacted by playing the jerk card for the rest of the episode.
