Tina Turner and Beyonce were rolling, rolling, rolling on a river Sunday night with their duet rendition of "Proud Mary" at the 50th annual Grammys. Between Beyonce's sequin-studded dress and Tina's silver capris, the two were literally sparkling. But how did you like the performance? Can Tina still rock? Mo'Nique on Her Academy Award: "I Am a Stand-Up Comedian Who Won an Oscar!"

Mo'Nique completed her successful award season run with yet another win at tonight's Oscars. She was brimming with happiness as she stepped back into the press room, where she kept the crowd cracking up the whole time. Along with talking about her dress and role, and relaying the sweet story of her husband saying "you first" to chase her dreams, she joked about being a comedian at heart and not playing the Hollywood game. Here's some highlights:

On winning: "Everything I wanted, everything I waited for, is here. I am a stand-up comedian who won an Oscar! [laughs] Oh, baby, I did it, me! You know, this role was so not about my acting career. This role has shaped my life and allowed me not to judge and to love unconditionally. If that goes into my career, great, but if it doesn't and I'm just the dynamic person that I strive to be every day, then I've won, baby!"
On seeing any of herself in Mary Jones: "Yes, and I'll ask you, have you ever had a dark moment? Did you feel unloved? Everyone has some Mary Jones in them."
On what she would say to the other Preciouses of the world: "You can. You will. And I did."
On returning to her normal life: "You know, I've said this before. When I am at home, I am Sidney Hicks's wife and I was Mommy to David, Jonathan, Michael, and Shawann.
On her speech: "Everything I wanted to say and everything I needed to say, I say."
On the criticism she received for not promoting enough: "I'm very proud to be part of an academy that says we will not play that game. We will judge her on her performance, not how many dinners she attended."

What to Download: New Music Today

I've already gone over today's DVD releases; now here are a few music picks to help breathe life into your iPod. (If you want to weigh in on a new album, head over to the Music Review Group and write your two cents. I may even feature your thoughts on the site!)

A head-scratcher: Timbaland's collaborations seem even more forced in this follow-up to Shock Value, featuring pairings with Chad Kroeger, The Fray, even Miley Cyrus. Why does it feel like he's trying so hard? I was happy to see him return to old partner Justin Timberlake for "Carry Out," but the song is a ridiculous (albeit silly-fun) take on sex and fast food that makes me think of Timberlake's "I'm Lovin' It" McDonald's campaign. I prefer "Say Something" with Drake and "Ease Off the Liquor" - the only track where Tim is all by himself.

Never really takes off: I already shared my excitement about 30 Seconds to Mars's This Is War after previewing "Hurricane" with Kanye West, so imagine my disappointment when I heard the album in its entirety and the rapper's voice is missing (reportedly due to legal issues). Without West, War loses some of its oomph and many of the songs feel repetitive. Jared Leto's voice sounds great, but unfortunately, the music and lyrics don't pack the punch necessary for an album with This Is War as its title. Not that the boys don't have tracks worth checking out; "Alibi" showcases Leto's pipes, wailing with emo-ness.

A sugary second helping: You know I'm a fan of the first Glee soundtrack, so I was very excited for Volume 2. A few of the lesser-used players shine this time, including Tina on "True Colors" and Mercedes on "Proud Mary" and "And I'm Telling You I'm Not Going." It also gives us an early listen of "My Life Would Suck Without You," which the gleeks take on in this week's episode. But the big reason I can get behind this edition? Unlike Volume 1, which was overplayed before it even came out (hello, "Don't Stop Believin'"), we haven't heard these songs 100 times already.

Glee-ful Highlights and Video From Episode "Wheels"

After a few arduous weeks without Glee, the show is back - and thankfully, it doesn't disappoint. Not only are there some fabulous performances (showcasing new voices), but we learn a few secrets about Tina's stutter and Sue's family life.

Meanwhile, Finn and Quinn's relationship is unraveling fast, and Puck is ready to stand up and win his baby mama back. Ready to discuss all the fun? First check out the Glee Club in Community, then read more.

After sitting on the sidelines (no pun intended) for most of the first season, Artie finally gets his time in the spotlight this week. His rendition of "Dancing with Myself" is so good. Dare I say he's got a better voice than Finn? It's heartbreaking when the rest of the team doesn't rally behind him at first to try to raise money for the bus, but I love that Artie sasses Rachel back, saying, "You're irritating most of the time, but don't take that personally." Mr. Schue gives his all to try to teach the Gleeks a lesson, making everyone sit in a wheelchair for 3 hours a day - which leads to a pretty stellar performance of "Proud Mary."

I could watch Artie's solo over and over again:

Artie's not the only supporting character we learn more about this week; Tina finally comes out of her shell a little. She plants a big kiss on Artie (!) before revealing that she's been faking her stutter for years. Unfortunately Artie turns the sweet moment into a dour one, giving Tina the cold shoulder for pretending to be "different" when she's really "just like everyone else." Though Artie is wounded, I felt like he's a bit harsh to Tina - especially since his disability clearly has no bearing on the way she feels towards him. Hopefully he'll give her another chance.
Quinn's also feeling like an outcast now that she's off the Cheerios. Seeing her out of that uniform is so refreshing, though her snotty attitude towards Finn was wearing on me. She does share a sweet moment with Puck though (fun times in the home ec room!), and I have a feeling that it's only a matter of time before she switches boyfriends, leaving Finn available for Rachel.
Mr. Schue gives his singing and dancing skills a rest this week, but his rivalry with Sue continues. Schue is shocked when Sue agrees to take Becky for the Cheerios and thinks she's up to no good. I have to admit I also thought that Sue has an evil plan in mind, but she does have a point when she tells Schue that she's treating handicapped Becky "no different from anyone else." Then, we realize that Sue isn't entirely made of stone after all when she visits her handicapped sister in a home.
It's business as usual for Rachel when Mr. Schue offers her the lead vocals on "Defying Gravity," but Kurt finally takes a stand against her. Though the part is written for a woman, Schue arranges a "diva-off" when Kurt's dad stands up for his son. The relationship between Kurt and his dad makes a lot of progress - especially when Kurt throws the sing-off to protect his dad from attacks about having a gay son.
