Come on, admit it. When you hear the name Phylicia Rashad, you can't help but get all nostalgic. I know I do. The actress, who started her career in the theater in the 1970s, moved to the soaps in the early '80s, when she portrayed a lawyer on One Life to Live. Best remembered for her role as the no-nonsense mom and attorney Clair Huxtable, on The Cosby Show, Phylicia is one timeless beauty.

Phylicia is still active in both the theater and television, winning a Tony, Emmy, and NAACP Image Award for her Broadway and TV roles in A Raisin in the Sun. A supporter of the Fine Arts in Education, Phylicia is also a member of Broadway Inspirational Voices and supports the PRASAD Project, a charitable organization.

With that sparkling smile (her father and first husband were both dentists) and classy hair and makeup, Phylicia never fails to look age appropriate, polished, and sophisticated. In December she was named a spokesperson for Jenny Craig. Of her weight-loss experiences, Rashad recently told ET, "It's not about the way you look, it's about the way you are. It's not about how I look, it's about the way I am." I couldn't agree more.

First Look: ABC's A Raisin in the Sun

Lorraine Hansberry's 1959 play A Raisin in the Sun is already a true theater classic: It was the first play written by an African American woman to be performed on Broadway, and the original cast - including Sidney Poitier and current Oscar nominee Ruby Dee - was recognized with four Tony Awards. More than 40 years later, a 2004 revival starring Sean Combs, Phylicia Rashad, and Audra McDonald took home two Tony awards of its own.

Now, the majority of the Broadway cast has reunited for a television adaptation for ABC, which will air next Monday, Feb. 25. The movie has already screened at Sundance to positive reviews, and I'm eager to check it out for myself.

The play focuses on a family struggling to make a life for themselves in Chicago in the 1950s. Matriarch Lena Younger (Rashad) starts the story in motion, using money from her late husband's life insurance check to purchase a house in an all-white neighborhood - a move that isn't received well by their new neighbors. Meanwhile, the rest of the money ends up in the hands of Lena's son Walter (Combs), but instead of protecting and saving it to send his sister to medical school, he ends up tied up in a scam that could destroy the family's ambitions. Reminder: Recast "The Cosby Show"

For this week's Recast challenge, I decided to tackle a sitcom that many of us grew up watching obsessively: "The Cosby Show."

This series, which debuted in 1984, introduced a multitude of characters over its 8-year run: Cockroach, baby Olivia, cousin Pam, and on and on. But let's just recast the original core members of the Huxtable family, from Bill Cosby's classic grumpy Cliff all the way down to spunky (and slightly annoying) Rudy.
