Here's a sneak peek at what you can expect from TV's finest fictional funny people this week.
Buzz-Worthy Video: Parks and Recreation's Ode to Intern April
I've attributed a lot of Parks and Recreation's success to its awesome side characters, who are each hilarious in their own unique way. Tom Haverford is a failed smooth operator, Ron Swanson a crusty badass, and Andy is a sweet doofus. April Ludgate is the aloof slacker intern, played to droll perfection by Aubrey Plaza.

Are You More Likely to Tune In For Guest Stars?
Special guest stars are a dime a dozen these days, but that doesn't make 'em any less fun. Tonight, NBC's comedy lineup is back with new episodes (well, except for The Office) and it's chock-full of celebrity appearances. First we've got Jack Black on Community, followed by Will Arnett playing opposite his real-life wife Amy Poehler on Parks and Recreation.
TCA Tidbits: Parks and Recreation Bring the Funny, Maybe More 24 on the Way
The Winter TCA is still going strong, but let's backtrack a bit to recap highlights from two beloved shows. One of the more lively panels of the weekend was with the cast and showrunners of Parks and Recreation. Now that they're midway through their second season, creator Greg Ellis, Amy Poehler, and the rest of the cast joked about how they finally found their niche and why we shouldn't expect any crossovers in the near future.
Buzz-Worthy Video: Parks and Recreation's Wu-Tang Link
Parks and Recreation has been earning a revamped reputation as being one of the funniest shows on TV (and one of my faves of 2009), and this uproarious clip exposing the show's connection to rap group Wu-Tang Clan is just furthering that momentum. In the clip below, Roots drummer ?uestlove introduces a "lost screen test" with the RZA auditioning for the role of Leslie Knope — before it went to Amy Poehler.
Highly NSFW language, but highly hilarious, particularly when RZA suggests he and Ann kiss.

Been missing the Parks and Recreation crew? Me too. Good thing some of the funniest players (the ones who made the show one of the best sitcoms of the year) have popped up over the Winter hiatus to share their New Year's resolutions and messages for 2010.
Buzz's 10 Favorite TV Shows of 2009
You guys have gotten to weigh in on your favorites in TV for 2009, and now it's my turn: this year was a revelation for small screen comedies and dramas, and I was watching it all, crying and guffawing at some blockbuster episodes. Not everything made my shortlist of favorites for the year — the ones that did, though, were the series I couldn't turn off and can't wait to see more from in 2010.
