Now, Greg and Pam have kids (who are more grown up than just toddlers) and are getting together with Pam's parents for the holidays. Of course, the typical banter between Greg and Jack ensues, which includes bloodshed, a Viagra-like wonder drug, and some throwbacks to the original movie. I'm still skeptical about this second sequel, but I am happy to see that Owen Wilson and Barbra Streisand are back and there are some newbies - like Jessica Alba and Laura Dern - along for the ride this time. Buzz In: Which Movie Series and Franchises Should Just End?

If you were feeling an emptiness in your life that only the Nutty Professor could fill, well today's your lucky day: A third installment of that kooky prof's story is in the works.

In other sequel news, apparently theaters will be filled with the pitter-patter of little Focker feet when a third Meet the Parents/Fockers film comes out (now with Blythe Danner and Robert deNiro confirmed), which naturally will deal with the hiccups and burbles of parenthood with such zany grandparents.

I like both Meet the Parents and Meet the Fockers, but not so much that I think they needed to reproduce. I also think the Spider-Man movies starring Tobey Maguire have probably run their course. Do you think yet another Indiana Jones movie is a good idea? What other series of films do you think should just stop now?

Before there was a whole crop of Fockers, the 2000 comedy Meet the Parents had me laughing and quoting up a storm, thanks to the myriad awkward scenes between Greg (Ben Stiller) and Jack (Robert De Niro). The later sequels don't hold a candle to the original as far as I'm concerned, so let's focus on the first in the franchise for the latest edition of Buzz Lines.
