Christina Applegate and her Up All Night costars Will Arnett and Maya Rudolph got silly on the press line last night in LA at the Paley Center for Media. The trio was on hand for a panel about their NBC comedy, during which Christina said that, as a working mom herself, she feels like she's living the same life as her character! The cast also hinted that a second baby might be something that comes up as a possibility for Will and Christina's onscreen couple in the next season of the series. Will was back in LA for the event after hitting up the Met Gala with his wife Amy Poehler on Monday evening. The second annual Comedy Central Comedy Awards took over NYC's Hammerstein Ballroom Saturday night with big names in the funny business stepping out for the show. Amy Poehler, in a bold Black Halo dress, posed with her husband Will Arnett on the red carpet before she picked up the statue for best TV comedy actress for her work on Parks and Recreation. Maya Rudolph and her Bridesmaids costar Kristen Wiig were both honored, with Kristen winning for best comedy screenplay and Maya and the rest of the cast landing the title of best comedy film. Other stars, including Jim Carrey, Chris Rock, Chevy Chase, and Tracy Morgan, took the stage to present. 3 Reasons You Might Like Friends With Kids

The comedy Friends With Kids explores the question of whether two friends can have a baby, raise it, and stay friends. The movie follows BFFs Jason and Julie (Adam Scott and Jennifer Westfeldt, who also wrote and directed the film) as they try to pull off platonic babymaking, despite the fact that their friends think it's a terrible idea. Besides the central couple, the movie also depicts several other relationships - that of Jason and Julie's married friends, as well as the friendships between everyone in the tight-knit group. It's more cynical than your standard romantic comedy, so while you might not get swept off your feet, there are still a few reasons why it's worth seeing.

The hilarious ensemble: Four of the cast members of Bridesmaids appear in Friends With Kids: Jon Hamm, Kristen Wiig, Maya Rudolph, and Chris O'Dowd, and if you liked them in that movie, you'll eat up their reunion in Friends With Kids. This time, you get to see Wiig and Hamm's chemistry reworked as a committed couple rather than friends with benefits, and where O'Dowd and Rudolph had no screen time together in Bridesmaids, here they're playing a longtime married pair. O'Dowd, who broke out in Bridesmaids, is even more of a delight, using an American accent to play a sweet but somewhat dopey husband. Not only is it fun to see these actors reunited as the supporting cast, the main couple is great too, especially Scott. Though his character Jason is kind of a womanizer, Scott's as irresistible as ever.
The great script: The funny script is worthy of its gifted cast, and the humor goes from goofy to downright raunchy, if the situation calls for it. But beyond having plenty of laughs, it's also very real. The characters are very blunt about relationship realities, and sometimes the dialogue is so honest that it's painful to watch, like when Hamm's character ruthlessly criticizes Jason and Julie for their casual attitude about raising a child. It might feel awkward, but it also feels refreshing.
The thought-provoking plot: Westfeldt (who also wrote Kissing Jessica Stein) has a knack for posing interesting questions about relationships in her films, and here, she really examines every aspect of the situation, like what happens when they date other people. Plus, each character has an opinion about Jason and Julie's arrangement, so you hear so many arguments that you get to figure out for yourself what you think about the situation - and what you'd do if it were your friends (or you) with this unconventional idea.

The Critics' Choice Awards took place in LA tonight and recognized actors, actresses, and films released over the past 12 months. George Clooney took home the top honor of best actor, beating out friends Brad Pitt and Ryan Gosling. He was joined at the event by his girlfriend Stacy Keibler and thanked his fellow The Descendants castmates during his heartfelt acceptance speech. The Help was recognized for outstanding ensemble cast with Viola Davis and Octavia Spencer each going home with an individual nod for best actress and best supporting actress respectively.

Leonardo DiCaprio took the stage to honor his mentor and film director Martin Scorsese with the Music + Film award and Bob Dylan also paid tribute to Scorsese with a song. Leo brought along his dad George to the dinner, while the actor's girlfriend Erin Heatherton is currently shooting the upcoming Victoria's Secret Summer catalog. The Artist was the biggest winner of the evening with four awards. Ryan Gosling missed out on the celebratory event, however, his suspenseful flick Drive was crowned best action movie while Bridesmaids won best comedy and Rango earned the title of best animated film - check out the entire list of Critics' Choice Awards winners! Friends With Kids Trailer: Jon Hamm, Maya Rudolph, and More Take Friends With Benefits to New Heights

If you loved seeing Jon Hamm and Kristen Wiig as friends with benefits in Bridesmaids, then you'll definitely want to see them together again as newlyweds in the trailer for Friends With Kids. They're not the titular parents though; that would be Adam Scott and Jennifer Westfeldt (who also wrote and directed the film), as a pair of platonic friends who decide to have a baby together without being in a relationship (a "50 percent commitment," if you will.) Naturally, their circle of friends (which also includes Maya Rudolph and fellow Bridesmaids star Chris O'Dowd) don't exactly understand their progressive situation.

The preview didn't have me laughing out loud, but you'll never hear me complaining about seeing Adam Scott in a leading role, or revisiting so many of the amazing cast members from Bridesmaids. I'm even looking forward to seeing Megan Fox in something a little more toned-down, as a love interest for Adam Scott. The movie hits theaters in March, but get a peek at the trailer when you
