Not even Oscar host Hugh Jackman got to see all the nominated films before Sunday's big night. He even found a pretty hilarious way to work the fact that he hadn't seen The Reader into his opening bit.

Mr. Jackman is not alone, as I'm sure most of us still need to see some of the movies that took home awards on Sunday. I managed to get to most of them, but there are a couple I still need to see - and others I can't wait to see again! So tell me: what Academy-approved flick do you want to see next?

Oscar Movie Preview: Man on Wire For Best Documentary

Since it can often be hard to see some of the Oscar-nominated documentaries in theaters, it's nice to get a taste of them before Oscar night - not to mention that it might help you when you fill out your Oscar ballot. So this week I'll feature as many of the Best Documentary previews as I can.

The documentary Man on Wire already holds the title of best reviewed movie ever and could soon add Oscar winner to its credits. The movie follows young Frenchman Philippe Petit who illegally rigged wires between New York's Twin Towers in 1974 and embarked on a tight-rope act 1,350 feet above the ground. The documentary tells the the story of the six-and-a-half years during which Petit planned for what he would describe as a "coup."

Critics across the board have nothing but praise for director James Marsh's creation with one rave review calling it a "thorough, understated and altogether enthralling documentary."

American Idol's Kristy Lee Cook has signed a recording deal with Arista Nashville, USA Today reports.
According to the Futon Critic, AMC has enlisted Ian McKellen and Jim Caviezel to star in a six-part miniseries remake of the TV show The Prisoner.
Variety reports that The Real World producers Bunim-Murray could be tapped to run Project Runway when the show moves to Lifetime.
Ne-Yo has bumped Coldplay out of the No. 1 spot on the UK singles chart, Billboard reports.

Garfield wasn't your top choice for the role, but the up-and-coming Brit seems to have a very bright future ahead: you can watch him in the trailer for Never Let Me Go, and he'll also star in The Social Network. What do you think of the new Spidey?

The New Spider-Man Reboot Gets a Director!

Spider-Man 4 may be dead, but Sony is wasting no time in moving on to its replacement. Word is the studio has hired (500) Days of Summer director Marc Webb to orchestrate the first film in the new saga - as well as two additional movies based around the younger Peter Parker and his spandexed alter ego. The news may seem surprising for a relative newcomer to feature film, but Webb supposedly has two things in his favor: Columbia's chairman Amy Pascal likes him, and he comes with a much cheaper price tag than veteran Sam Raimi.

I was against a Spider-Man update before, but things just got interesting. Webb took a ton of lighthearted liberties with Summer, so I'm hoping his younger sensibility and creativity can breathe some life into the old franchise. Let's just hope we've seen the last of those Peter Parker dance sequences.

Matt Damon and Jay-Z Make the Scene at Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark's Revamp

Matt Damon, his wife Luciana, and Jay-Z were among the famous faces in the audience last night at the debut of the newly revamped Broadway show Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark. Jay was spotted chatting up actress Gina Gershon backstage after Matt and Luciana posed for photos outside. The musical, which was plagued by cast injuries and bad press during its many preview performances, finally opened yesterday in front of the star-studded crowd. Bono, who partially financed the project and whose band U2 wrote music for the show, walked the red carpet, as did Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber, while former president Bill Clinton and his daughter, Chelsea, mingled inside. The new version of the Spider-Man musical is getting mixed reviews, but is nonetheless scheduled to run through October.

Two Broke Girls: Two girls in their early twenties (Kat Dennings and Beth Behrs) struggle to get by in New York City and fulfill their dreams.
How to Be a Gentleman: Focuses on an odd-couple pair of male best friends; one is uptight while the other is a little more brusque. David Hornsby and Kevin Dillon star.,

DRAMA

Person of Interest: In this J.J. Abrams-produced drama, Jim Caviezel plays a former CIA agent who's presumed dead and starts working with a billionaire (Michael Emerson) to prevent crime in NYC.
The 2-2: Robert De Niro is producing this drama about six rookie cops in NYC. The ensemble cast includes Leelee Sobieski and Adam Goldberg.
Unforgettable: Poppy Montgomery stars in this series about an NYPD detective with the ability to remember everything.
A Gifted Man: Patrick Wilson stars as a hotshot surgeon who changes his outlook on life after his ex-wife dies and begins giving him advice. Julie Benz also stars.
