Netflix Will Stream Paramount, Lionsgate, and MGM Films

Big news for streaming Netflix fans - the company just signed a multiyear deal to bring you more options to your streaming Netflix queue from Paramount, Lionsgate, and MGM.

In partnership with EPIX (a pay TV company that holds the rights to new films), beginning on Sept. 1, Netflix will get streaming rights to movies from these three film houses 90 days after they're released to subscription TV services. So when Killers hits On-Demand, you'll only have to wait 90 days to stream it to your Wii, PS3, or Xbox 360 via Netflix. Or, you know, insert movie title here.

Farrelly Brothers's Three Stooges Movie Gets Greenlit

It was mostly a rumor a year ago, but now it's for real: The Farrelly Brothers (those ol' kooks behind There's Something About Mary, Dumb and Dumber, and others) have decided that modern-day moviegoers "deserve their own Stooges" and have gotten MGM to back their Untitled Three Stooges Project. The MGM press release continues:

The Farrelly Brothers have been working on a modernization of the Stooges, "slapstick with heart" concept since the mid-90s. But it was their decision to focus on an origin story for Larry, Moe and Curly and thus introduce the three to a new generation that pushed the picture onto the fast track.

"We love The Stooges! They have been sending the world into hysterics for more than 80 years." [Peter] Farrelly continued, "Movie goers today deserve their own Stooges and we look forward to introducing them to a new generation of knuckleheads."

What do you think about remaking The Three Stooges for the big screen? A while back I asked you guys if you thought the Farrelly Brothers should fold up their director's chairs and refrain from making any more films, and many of you said they should. Is this a good project for them?

James Bond Hotties Daniel and Javier Announce the Start of Production, New Film Details!

Bond fans, rejoice! Work on the 23rd film in the series, Skyfall, has started, and the cast and crew gathered together in London for a photocall in celebration of the event. Leading man Daniel Craig joined up with director Sam Mendes and new Bond girls, France's Bérénice Marlohe and Britain's Naomie Harris, to smile for the cameras. James Bond villan Javier Bardem was there as well, lending his good looks to the cast.

Sam and the actors posed for photos then sat down for a press conference, which was planned to take place on the anniversary of the day that Sean Connery was announced as the first Bond. They also shared the official synopsis for the film, which is that, "Bond's loyalty to M is tested as her past comes back to haunt her. . . as MI6 comes under attack." Sam Mendes had more on the plot, saying, "It, I think, has all the elements of a classic Bond movie, including, to quell any rumors, a lot of action." Work on Bond 23 had been stalled for a long time due to financing problems at Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios. Now, though, things are going into full gear with Sony and MGM financing the shoot in London, Shanghai, Istanbul, and Scotland with a release date next Fall.

Martyn Lawrence-Bullard Shares Celeb Decorating Stories at High Point Market

This morning, I had the pleasure of attending a press breakfast at High Point Market featuring keynote speaker Martyn Lawrence-Bullard, whom we've featured several times on the site for his decor work, fabulous role on Million Dollar Decorators, and new book Live, Love & Decorate.

This morning, Martyn told some fantastic decorating stories about some of his celebrity clients, including Ozzy Osbourne, Cher, and Kid Rock. Curious about the inner decorating lives of Martyn's star clientele? Here were some of my favorite stories.

Cheryl Tiegs's '50s bungalow had eight-feet-tall ceilings until Martyn transformed them into sweeping 26-feet-tall ceilings.
Cheryl Tiegs's fireplace is actually made from architectural salvage from a New York building - complete with gargoyles.
Martyn noted that if Cher wasn't an actress, she'd be an interior designer.
Cher's design directive for Martyn when designing her apartment was the following: "I want to be the first wife of the maharaja."
Martyn described client Joe Francis's business as "unusual." (Joe is the man behind the Girls Gone Wild videos.)
When decorating Joe Francis's home in Mexico, a truck full of furniture was "kidnapped" and held for ransom, and Martyn had to bring a suitcase full of money to recover it.

Las Vegas got even crazier this weekend when the biggest names in music descended onto the property of the MGM Grand Hotel and Casino for the two-day iHeartRadio music festival. The good times kicked off on Friday with performances from Jay-Z, Coldplay, Alicia Keys, the Black Eyed Peas, Carrie Underwood, Bruno Mars, Kelly Clarkson, and Jane's Addiction. Saturday night was just as star studded with energetic sets by Lady Gaga, Jennifer Lopez, Steven Tyler, Kenny Chesney, Nikki Minaj, Rascal Flats, Usher, and Sting. Music artists weren't the only big names on hand - American Idol host Ryan Seacrest made the trip to the desert to MC the show and brought along girlfriend, and star of the upcoming dance film Footloose, Julianne Hough. Twilight star Ashley Greene was rolling solo to introduce Rascal Flats while Glee's Cory Monteith welcomed Sublime to the stage.

Friends Alicia and Jay-Z closed down Friday night with a rocking rendition of their hit "Empire State of Mind" as Chris Martin watched on from backstage. There were no signs, though, of mom-to-be Beyoncé or Chris's wife Gwyneth Paltrow. The fans kept up their enthusiasm on Saturday when J Lo rocked out her hits "Papi" and "On the Floor." J Lo looked hot in a sexy red dress! Fresh off her tour with Britney Spears, Nikki Minaj got fans on their feet with her "Super Bass." Lady Gaga wrapped up the second night of festivities with a 50-minute set that included chart topper "The Edge of Glory."

Tom Makes a Big-Screen Deal During a Casual Weekend With Katie

Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes stepped out in LA yesterday to visit a studio with their daughter Suri. The whole family was uncharacteristically dressed down for the errand, with Tom and Katie both rocking a pair of sweats. Tom did get fancy last week to attend the premiere of Super 8 and support his pals J.J. Abrams and Steven Spielberg. The guys should all be happy now that the Super 8 reviews were great and the movie even topped the box office! Tom is in the midst of shooting Rock of Ages, and he's got more film work to come as well. He and his partner Paula Wagner just announced a deal with MGM that will see the duo take over the United Artists label and bring about four projects, some starring Tom, to the big screen each year.

Last night's Billboard Awards, held at Las Vegas's MGM Grand Arena, were star-studded from start to finish. A pantless Britney Spears and Rihanna kicked off the proceedings with a scantily clad rendition of "S&M," and Brit later took the stage again for a performance with her tourmate Nicki Minaj. Beyoncé Knowles was another of the evening's biggest draws, and she was on hand to sing her new tune "Run the World (Girls)." There was an honor in store for Beyoncé as well, since she took home the Millennium Award and made a heartfelt acceptance speech that included a shout-out to her husband, Jay-Z. The night seemed to belong to Taylor Swift, though, with her win for Artist of the Year. Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez's live kiss gave Taylor some competition for the spotlight, however. The festivities were presided over by The Hangover Part II's Ken Jeong, who had some help from his costars Bradley Cooper and Zach Galifianakis in introducing urban music - that is, tunes from Keith Urban.

The red carpet at last night's Billboard Awards was chock full of stars ready to get the musical party started. Nicole Kidman, in Dolce & Gabanna, was on hand to show support for her husband Keith Urban, though she was quick to offer a hug to young star Selena Gomez. Selena looked mature in a tight Dolce & Gabanna dress with cutout sides, and the form-fitting outfits kept coming from other celebs like a Mark Fast-clad Nicki Minaj and Ke$ha, in Jad Ghanour. Rihanna, still rocking her red hair, stepped out in an all-white Max Azria suit. Taylor Swift, though, went the sequined route with Elie Saab on her way inside Las Vegas's MGM Grand Garden Arena. It was a big evening for Taylor, who was up for multiple awards. She ended up taking home the honor for Artist of the Year with her album Speak Now and later accepted Country Artist of the Year. There was lots of excitement at the show, including hot sets from Britney Spears and Rihanna - stay tuned for lots of photos from the stage.

Britney Spears and Rihanna took the stage at the MGM Grand Arena to open the Billboard Awards in Las Vegas tonight. The duo performed Rihanna's hit "S&M" and shared a sexy almost kiss in between belting out the lyrics. It was Britney's first appearance of the night, since she's also set to take the microphone with Nicki Minaj. Rihanna's up for 18 awards, including Top Artist, Top Female Artist, and Top R&B Artist while Nicki was nominated for four. Britney isn't up for any prizes at the event, though now that the show is returning after a five-year break, she should be able to snag a few in 2012 for her work on Femme Fatale.

Johnson was inspired to become a professional dancer from watching old MGM musicals with the likes of Fred Astaire, Ginger Rogers, and Cyd Charisse.
