January Jones is everywhere right now: This week's Mad Men was exceptionally stellar, her scandalous GQ issue is currently on stands — and the latest news this morning is that she will be appearing on the big screen soon, as well. (Much like some of the other Mad Men ladies.) Jones has been cast along with Diane Kruger in the thriller Unknown White Male. The film follows a man (Liam Neeson) who awakes from a coma to find that his identity has been stolen.

The Other Man is directed by Notes on a Scandal's Richard Eyre, and it seems to feature that movie's same ominous and disturbing tone. I like that the cast includes some of my favorite actors: Laura Linney, Liam Neeson and Antonio Banderas, along with Atonement's Romola Garai. But what I like most about the trailer for this film is that I don't feel as though I've seen the entire movie in the preview.

Liam Neeson's thriller Taken scored the top spot at the box office this weekend, which according to Variety, proves that "male-driven pics can open successfully on Super Bowl weekend." Last year Miley Cyrus brought her magic to the big screen over Super Bowl weekend and broke records.
Meanwhile, Paul Blart: Mall Cop continues to do well and dropped to the No.

If this pattern keeps up it will become "spooky trailer" week here on Buzz, starting with yesterday's preview for The Happening. Today I present the trailer for Taken, starring Liam Neeson, Famke Janssen and Lost's Maggie Grace. I have high hopes for this thriller as it was co-written by Luc Besson, the mind behind one of my favorite movies, The Professional.

In a recent article, Newsweek randomly announced that Sally Field will play Mary Todd Lincoln and Liam Neeson will play Abraham Lincoln in a biopic directed by Steven Spielberg. The casting news was included in a piece about the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum’s special exhibit, “Mary Todd Lincoln: First Lady of Controversy,” which explores the possibility that Mary Todd Lincoln may have suffered from mental illness.
Newsweek states that Spielberg's project will be based on the Doris Kearns Goodwin book Team of Rivals: The Political Genius of Abraham Lincoln.
