Sugar Editorial Picks

While many of us are rabidly awaiting tomorrow — aka New Moon Day, as it's known around Sugar HQ — the cast is undoubtedly looking forward to the end of the promotional rounds. But their exhaustion doesn't make them any less eager to please — witness Kristen Stewart on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon, who starts out a little quiet, but eventually warms to the funnyman. She divulges how Martha Stewart confessed a dream about Robert Pattinson to her — to which Stewart offered to hook them up (she even imitates the domestic goddess!).

A friendly game of beer pong is nothing new for Jimmy Fallon's celebrity guests, but I was particularly interested to see January Jones show off her skills last night. Jones is anything but prim and proper Betty Draper off the set, and I can't wait to see more of that side on SNL this weekend. The self-proclaimed champion brought plenty of trash talking, but you'll have to see the video to find out if her bite's as bad as her bark.

I'd be lying if I said I didn't start many of my days with an episode of Saved by the Bell on TBS. There is something about that show that still draws me in, even though the fashion, the acting, the Slater — it's all so cheesy. What can I say?

- The photo spread of comedic actors in Vanity Fair is sparking some discussion, from whether it's insulting that women go fully nude for the magazine while the men wear bodysuits, to why it's funny when men are "naked" but it's not funny when women are naked. — Jezebel and Popwatch
- This reimagining of Watchmen as an '80s Saturday morning cartoon is genius. — The Onion AV Club
- I kinda wish I were going to South by Southwest this year so I could see this movie, Sorry, Thanks (starring Wiley Wiggins from Dazed and Confused!).

NBC's long-planned late night transition really gets underway tonight, when Jimmy Fallon takes the Late Night reigns from Conan O'Brien. Since December, Fallon's been doing regular video blogs online, and he's already gotten some buzz for a couple of things, including hiring The Roots as his house band and "Jack McBrayer's response to the Internet response to the Republican response to the President's address to Congress."
Nonetheless, O'Brien's bound to be a tough act to follow, so I'm wondering: Will you be giving Fallon's version of Late Night a chance?

It'll be a few months before Jimmy Fallon officially slides into Conan O'Brien's chair as the host of NBC's Late Night, but starting tonight, he'll be doing some practice runs — and we can all watch online. At 12:30 a.m. each day, NBC will post a new video of Fallon on this new website.

The big release of New Moon is just five days away, which means the film's stars are in turbo mode to promote it. They've already popped up on red carpets all over the world, but now they're bringing it home to hit the interview circuit here in the states. The list is a bit overwhelming, but I've mapped out the next week so that you can all program your DVRs accordingly!
