Jason Aldean, Carrie Underwood, Toby Keith, and More Country Stars Add Fender Guitars to Their Trophy Cases

Las Vegas went country last night for the 2011 American Country Awards. The event was hosted by Trace Adkins, for the second year in a row, and this time around he was joined by pint-sized companion Kristin Chenoweth. The night was a celebration of the genre's finest musicians with Jason Aldean taking home six Fender guitar statues, including artist of the year. Carrie added three awards to her growing collection including female artist of the year, music video of the year, and female artist single of the year. Taylor Swift missed out on the Sin City fun, and even though she was nominated in six categories her winning streak came to an end.

Blake Shelton took a break from filming The Voice to join his lovely wife Miranda Lambert in the front row of the audience. The superstar pair raised their plastic glasses during Toby Keith's performance of his hit "Red Solo Cup," and Keith later went on to accept the honor of artist of the decade. The evening was a mini American Idol reunion of sorts for former contestants Carrie, Jordin Sparks, Lauren Alaina, and Scotty McCreery. Scotty, last year's AI champion, earned his first ever award and took home the title of new artist of the year.

Carrie Underwood Gets the American Country Awards Going With Kristin and Jordan

Carrie Underwood kicked off the American Country Awards red carpet in Las Vegas tonight. She wore a playful white Maria Lucia Hohan number while Jordin Sparks also went with the neutral hue. Kristin Chenoweth, who cohosted the evening with singer Trace Adkins, chose a bright plunging green gown by Honor. Kristin started off the show with a funny skit and then handed the microphone to Jordin. Jordin presented the first honor of the night, Single of the Year, to Carrie Underwood, for "Mama's Song." It was just the beginning of the winning for Carrie, who picked up two more Fender guitar statues before the show wrapped up. Other country performers recognized at the 2011 ACAs included Lady Antebellum, American Idol's Scotty McCreery, Brad Paisley, and Blake Shelton.

Kristin Chenoweth attended the New York Opera Spring Gala in a long, understated, and very elegant black gown. She kept her hair simple and sleek in a low ponytail. And then she added this big choker around her neck. The choker itself is pretty interesting,with a knotted shape in front. We're just not sure about the combo. What do you think? NPH, Seacrest, Old Spice Isaiah and Mad Men Creatively Get the Emmy Party Started!

The 2010 Primetime Emmys are less than a week away and the TV world got the ball rolling on Saturday with the Creative Arts ceremony at the Nokia Theater in LA. Neil Patrick Harris had his boyfriend David Burtka on his arm as they celebrated NPH's first two Emmy wins, which means one statue for each of their twin babies on the way. Jon Hamm and Christina Hendricks were among the Mad Men representatives, which also took home a pair, and they'll be out with the rest of cast this weekend at the big show. Erika Christensen sported a short navy number on the red carpet while Glee creator Ryan Murphy playfully posed with fellow nominees Kathy Griffin and Kristin Chenoweth. Buzz is breaking down all the major categories before next Sunday, so make sure to fill out your ballot for a chance to win an iPad and check out the downloadable one for your Emmy party!

HBO's The Pacific led the way with a handful of honors while Ryan Seacrest took home his first ever Emmy for Jamie Oliver's Food Revolution. Old Spice guy Isaiah Mustafa wasn't individually nominated, but his viral ads took home a shiny gold statue, and he and Jon Hamm made quite the handsome site backstage. Betty White also triumphed for her SNL hosting gig, but Seth Meyers and Andy Samberg were there in her stead.
