Dudes Demonstrate All the Rom-Com Cliches Not Included in He's Just Not That Into You

The men of the upcoming movie He's Just Not That Into You have teamed up to assure other guys out there that this is "not your typical chick flick" and that actually guys who attend this movie with their girlfriends "might even enjoy it." Their reason for this declaration? They say there are a lot of rom-com cliches that are not included in this movie and they demonstrate these cliches in a new video you can check out after the jump.

The video stars Justin Long, Kevin Connolly, and Bradley Cooper and they're pretty funny together. My only beef with their little show is that it assumes women totally love the lame, overused rom-com cliches, which is not the case (see a list of annoying ones here written by me - a lady). Therefore, I believe this persuasive video should be aimed at any and all people who were ready to write this rom-com off, not just dudes.

A Whole Bunch of Stars are Just Not That Into You

Five more actors are joining the cast of He's Just Not That Into You.
Specifically, Jennifer Connelly, Kevin Connolly, Ginnifer Goodwin, Bradley Cooper, and Justin "I'm a Mac" Long are signing up for the film, which is based on the guide to dating by "Sex and the City" staffers Greg Behrendt and Liz Tuccillo. Barrymore's Flower Films is producing, and Ken Kwapis of "The Office" and License to Wed is directing.

According to the Hollywood Reporter:

Jennifer Connelly plays a woman stuck in a tired marriage with Cooper's character. Kevin Connolly, meanwhile, is a man pining after a woman, still not cast, who is having an affair with Cooper. Goodwin is a young woman obsessed with Kevin Connolly's character who tries to set up accidental meetings with him only to run across his friend, played by Long, who takes her on as a "My Fair Lady" experiment.

And Drew?
She "plays a woman perpetually confused by dating" - as I would be, too, if I were friends with that mess of people.

I'm a sucker for quizzes that seek to determine what TV characters I'm most like - whether it's the women of "Desperate Housewives" or the doctors on "Grey's." So even though it's meant for guys, I just had to take this "Entourage" quiz to find out which guy is the most like me. I'm apparently "smart and sweet" like Eric, making me wonder if every woman who takes this quiz will end up as an Eric. (I kinda wish I'd gotten Drama.)
