Movie Preview: A Nightmare on Elm Street
Enough of you are into slasher flicks that I think you'll appreciate this trailer for the latest installment of A Nightmare on Elm Street. What's different about this one, set to release in 2010? Freddy Krueger is played by the genuinely creepy and genuinely good actor Jackie Earle Haley.
First Look: Harper's Island
Harper's Island, which starts next week on CBS, is doing things a little differently than your standard TV series. Not only do we know its start date (April 9), but we also already know its end date (July 2). And it's best not to get too attached to any of the characters, as one by one, they're all getting killed.
TV Casting News: Scott Wolf, Katie Cassidy, Anastasia Griffith
As pilot season continues in Hollywood, I've got a fresh round of casting news, including Scott Wolf's next TV job and some plans for the new Melrose Place. Check it:
- Scott Wolf has been cast in ABC's remake of V, which is about aliens known as "the visitors" trying to take over Earth. Wolf's role is as a TV newscaster who begins to spread the aliens' messages.

Last week Heather Locklear confirmed her return to Melrose Place, and here are the first photos as she reprises her role as Amanda Woodward. It's been 10 years since she wreaked havoc on the famous apartment complex, but Locklear still looks fabulous and fierce in her little red dress.
