Personally, I was more excited about the project back when <a href="http://www.variety.com/VR1117980382.html" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Will Arnett was still the voice of KITT</a>, but hey, what can you do? </p> <p>Most of you <a href="http://buzzsugar.com/660971" rel="nofollow">weren't too excited</a> back when we first heard about this project, but I'm wondering if curiosity got the best of you last night. Did any of you check out the new <b>Knight Rider</b>? It also doesn't reveal anything about the plot of the movie, which is set to air Feb. 17. But it does have a couple of things going for it: It offers a glimpse of the new, shiny, Ford Mustang version of KITT (also pictured at right), and it introduces Will Arnett as the car's slightly sinister voice. </p> <p>When we <a href="http://buzzsugar.com/660971" >we first heard</a> about the plans to revive <b>Knight Rider</b>, there wasn't a whole lot of excitement around here - but I'm wondering if anyone out there has started to think it's a good idea. NBC is only committing to the TV movie, which centers on a character named Mike Traceur (soap star Justin Bruening), supposedly the son of <a href="http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/hr/content_display/news/e3ia9c51f5ef29150aaddf737e574e01730" target="_blank">David Hasselhoff's Michael Knight.</a> But the rumor remains that the new <b>Knight Rider</b> could become a series if the movie gets good ratings. And really, what with the <a href="http://www.buzzsugar.com/tag/writers+strike" >writers' strike</a>, it's got to be better than reruns.
