The star of Napoleon Dynamite is coming to Comedy Central — and he might be staying for quite a while. Jon Heder has landed a sitcom deal at the cable channel for a show written and produced by Will Ferrell, Adam McKay and Chris Henchy.
The as-yet-untitled sitcom stars Heder as "an out of work computer IT specialist who leaves the big city and returns to his small home town, where he moves back in with his parents and younger brother."

I have to confess, I don't think Jon Heder is much of a comedic actor outside the role of Napoleon Dynamite. And don't get me wrong, that is a hilarious character. But I have little faith in his ability to branch out.

What good is a mindless Hollywood comedy if it doesn't win big at the box office? Fortunately, Blades of Glory didn't have to find out. Not surprisingly, the latest Will Ferrell movie, was No.

It's hard not to find humor in the men’s figure skating at the Winter Olympics, with the abundance of pastels, spandex, and flamboyancy. Add Will Ferrell to the equation and you’ve got Blades of Glory, a movie so absurdly over-the-top, you can’t help but laugh.
In the movie, which opens nationwide tomorrow, Will Ferrell stars as Chazz Michael Michaels, who couldn't be more different from his arch rival, Jimmy MacElroy (Jon Heder).

In case you were wondering, Blades of Glory is still coming out this Friday, March 30. I can't seem to escape the previews for this film (I mean, really, how many are there?), and frankly, I'm getting slightly tired of Will Ferrell and Jon Heder.
However, I can always use a little more Amy Poehler-Will Arnett action, so I was delighted to get my hands on these hi-larious interviews with the real-life married couple (but not real-life professional skaters).

In case you've missed the relentless previews, Blades of Glory comes out next Friday, March 30. Since I've seen the trailer about a million times, I was delighted to come across something new: a webisode that features actual competitive skaters being "interviewed" about the fictitious skating duo, Chazz and Jimmy, played by Will Ferrell and Jon Heder. For non-actors, the skaters do really well with this, and the result is pretty damn funny.

Blades of Glory isn't due to come out until March 30, but the trailer is so funny, I can't resist posting it now. In this classic competition movie comedy, Will Farrell plays Chazz, a male figure skater who has a falling out with his rival Jimmy, played by Napoleon Dynamite's Jon Heder. As a result, the two are banned from competing in the singles' category, so they join forces to compete as a figure-skating pair.
