Bravo's Schedule: Runway in July, Shows on Mondays, More

Yesterday, we got a sense for what Lifetime has planned for Project Runway when it gets the rights to air the show in November (pending a lawsuit, of course). Today, we got a taste of what Bravo has in mind for the fifth season of Runway - plus the rest of the network's programming plans, including more Shear Genius and Top Design.

Runway's fifth season is now set to premiere on Bravo in July, presumably with the final designers showing off their collections at New York Fashion Week in September. While that seems like it will be a quick turnaround between the Bravo and Lifetime seasons, it's actually about the same amount of time the show took off between seasons two and three.

Among the other announcements:

Bravo has launched MoviesWithoutPity, a spinoff of TelevisionWithoutPity.
Flipping Out, My Life on the D List, and Shear Genius all will return this Summer.
Bravo will start having original programming on Monday nights for the first time.
Both Real Housewives series - Orange County and NYC - will return, and they'll have a third spinoff: The Real Housewives of New Jersey.
Speaking of Housewives, Jo De La Rosa's dating show is a go. Date My Ex, as it's known, will follow Jo looking for love - apparently with her ex, Slade, right by her side.
Top Design will return in the Fall with new host India Hicks - though Todd Oldham is sticking around as a mentor to the designers. All the judges from the first season will be returning, too (hooray, more questionable fashion from Kelly Wearstler!).
The Millionaire Matchmaker, Million Dollar Listing, and Tim Gunn's Guide to Style all will be back at some point.

Bravo also announced a couple of new shows in development. To see what they are, just read more.

The Rachel Zoe Project - this show about the famed stylist will officially be airing, though no premiere date has been set.
Donatella - This series will focus on Donatella Arpaia, a New York restaurateur and Zagat-dubbed "hostess with the mostess" as she attempts to triple her culinary empire over a six-month period.
Miami Social - This South Beach-set series will follow young Miami professionals as they work hard and play harder.
Tabatha's Salon Takeover - Yay, Tabatha from Shear Genius is still working on her very own show! This is just a tentative title, but it basically explains the concept: Tabatha travels around the country to rescue troubled salons.

Will You Watch Jo De La Rosa's Dating Show?

OK, some of you may take this as a sign that I love The Real Housewives of Orange County a little too much (impossible!), but I literally gasped aloud when I read this news this morning: Ex-housewife Jo De La Rosa is getting her own dating show on Bravo. I guess that means Slade is out of the picture?

According to Bravo, the show will follow Jo getting "a second chance ... at love" while living in Los Angeles, where she's moved to pursue her singing career. (Yup, we know all about that.) The first episode is scheduled to shoot in December.

A lot of you agreed with me that Jo was one of the best parts of Real Housewives, though some of you also loathed her. So I'm wondering: Will you watch a whole show devoted to Jo's romantic (mis)adventures?

Will You Watch "Real Housewives" Without Jo?

Well, it's official: Bravo will resurrect the show that aims to combine "Desperate Housewives," "The O.C." and reality TV - "The Real Housewives of Orange County." Yet the third season of the "docu-drama," premiering November 6, will be different in one key way: no Jo!

For me, watching Jo and her relationship with Slade was reason No. 1 to watch this show at all. I enjoyed seeing her navigate the treacherous waters that are SoCal housewifery, when all she really seemed to want was to seduce her friend's teenage son.

Will you tune into this next season of "Real Housewives," which will feature Vicki, Jeana, Lauri, Tammy and newcomer Tamra - but no Jo?

TV Tonight: "The Real Housewives" Reunion

If you've been watching the Buzz Reel these past few weeks, you know that one of my favorite guilty pleasures is Bravo's "The Real Housewives of Orange County." We've got one last chance to watch (read: ridicule) the ladies tonight, when they get together for a reunion to talk about Lauri's romance, Jo's musical career, and more.

Check out a preview of the episode, or watch what happened when Bravo's Andy Cohen talked to the Orange County kids. While you're at it, check out the winner of Bravo's "are you a real housewife?" contest as she talks about her BMW and her $3 million estate. Really, I couldn't make this stuff up.

"Song" of the Day: The Musical Stylings of an OC Housewife

I'll admit it: I love to hate Bravo's reality show "The Real Housewives of Orange County," which aired its season finale last night. In particular, I find the "character" of Jo to be deliciously abhorrent. Perhaps it's because she's younger than the other "housewives," but there's a certain self-assured pretension to the older women that Jo has yet to grow into. (Remember how excited she was about being able to see Bloomingdale's from her apartment?) She's so insecure it makes me cringe, and yet her fake confidence borders on delusional.

Ready for the best part? Jo (whose full name is Jo De La Rosa) is now pursuing a "singing" career, and you can listen to her first attempt at becoming the new pop tart on Jo's Myspace page. Called "Falling," the track is basically Jo's TV whininess put to music, along with electronic drums and some rudimentary guitar. Trust me; you have to hear this.
