Between Saturday's Independent Spirit Awards and Sunday's Oscars, it's a weekend for recognizing great films. But we can't be getting too lovey-dovey about the year's movies, can we? That's where the Razzies come in.

A day before Hollywood recognizes its finest with Oscar nominations, the 28th annual Golden Raspberry Awards stepped up to call out the film world's worst. Lindsay Lohan's I Know Who Killed Me led all movies with nine nominations, but Eddie Murphy did LL one better, singlehandedly garnering five nominations (in four different categories!) for his multiple Norbit characters. That's a new Razzie record for one person, a dubious honor if ever there was one.

The title of this should be I Know Lindsay Lohan Is in This Movie because it seems that's mostly what people know about it — especially after the clip from the movie that features Lindsay Lohan as a stripper. I Know Who Killed Me is some kind of twisted psychological thriller in which Lohan plays a young woman who is kidnapped and brutalized and then returns home with an alternate personality.
The trailer, which includes several more Stripper Lindsay moments, doesn't exactly have me at the edge of my seat, though the creepy little videos on the movie's official website make me pretty uneasy.

Sorry for the hyperbole, but I'm pretty sure this week's episode of The Vampire Diaries, "Haunted," is the best one of the season so far. The Halloween setting is perfect for playing out Vicki's vampiric transition, Bonnie's exploration of her mysterious genealogical history, and the exposing of "The Council."
There's plenty to talk about, so let's chat about the good, the bad, and the bloody (spoilers aplenty ahead!) when you read more

FlashForward gets into the Halloween spirit this week, with a few tricks for the characters and treats for the audience. We get just a bit more info about Simon and see a few costumes as Olivia and Mark's relationship issues come to a head in a big way.
This week's episode is heavy on the revelations (just like Sonya Walger promised), so to get into it, just read more

Seattle Grace has been invaded, and this time it's with new doctors in addition to fresh patients and injuries. It doesn't take very long for the surgeons to butt heads with the Mercy West newbies — in fact, Izzie is ready to throw down after one of the doctors takes George's locker in the locker room. Eventually, Izzie is the only one who warms up to the Mercy Westers, only to get burned first by a new friend and then by the chief.

Oh, Gerard Butler, what were you thinking? You might be able to forgive the 300 actor for starring in this horror flick disguised as a meaningful thriller, but he also served as producer to help finance the train wreck. Did he not even read the script?

Is it just me, or do the housewives seem even more desperate than usual this week? Susan takes some drastic measures to scare Danny away, which in turns sets Angie off with a few crazy antics of her own. Meanwhile, Bree's jealousy sends an innocent woman to the hospital and Lynette makes Tom look like a fool to cover up her pregnancy at a company dinner.

A Note From Buzz: With so many new movies this week, my friend Très was nice enough to apply her scary-movie expertise to review the box office's newest zombie flick.
In the United States of Zombieland, zombies outnumber people. A mad-cow tainted burger tipped the population in favor of the drooling, limping, and grunting set, and now zombies roam a crashed-car littered, empty-minimall-blighted zombiescape.

The Vampire Diaries must be doing something right, because the CW just ordered nine more episodes of the freshman series. I'm pretty psyched — with its third episode, "Friday Night Bites," Diaries has become one of my favorites of the Fall season.
Even though I've been gushing over Ian Somerhalder's Damon, this week the episode belonged to sensitive Stefan, who put down the blood bag, picked up the football, and brought out the high-school girl in me, who roots for the hot quarterback.
