New Girl's Jake Johnson on His Onscreen Relationship With Zooey Deschanel and His "Very Awkward" Nude Scene

Jake Johnson plays Nick on New Girl, one of three roommates of Zooey Deschanel's Jess. Though Nick and Jess are just friends, there's a palpable sexual tension, and I chatted with Johnson about their relationship, as well as Nick's complicated friendship with Schmidt. He also talked about a recent experience of getting naked for the show and his role in cult video phenomenon Drunk History. BuzzSugar: We saw some footage of you, naked, in an upcoming episode - how was the nudity experience?
Jake Johnson: Well, my nudity experience took place at three in the morning in LA near the ocean, and I was told to strip down until I was basically wearing cream underwear that were really tight, and I ran into the ocean. So my nudity experience was very cold, and very awkward.

Buzz: Was that your first time doing nudity?
JJ: No, we did an episode called "Naked," episode two, where I got pretty damn naked in that.

Buzz: But you're still covered somehow, so Zooey Deschanel has not seen you naked.
JJ: No, she hasn't officially seen my junk. But you can pretty much see the junk in those outfits.

Buzz: What do you think of Nick and Jess's relationship? Do you like them being pushed together?
JJ: You know, I don't think they're pushing us closer together anymore. I think there's something between the two characters, but I think they are - like in real life - if you feel a connection with somebody but also live with them, you don't actually want to do it, because it could get very real very fast. And I think that's where Nick and Jess are. I think they've noticed each other, I think there's an attraction, but I don't think either of them wants to have a live-in boyfriend or girlfriend, who they just met.

The Vampire Diaries is back! The series marked its return with a birthday party, a highly anticipated sex scene, and a sadistic new personality for Stefan. While Elena and Damon are left in Mystic Falls, Stefan is off gallivanting as Klaus's puppet, partying it up and dismembering the occasional Southern belle.

DSK Maid Breaks Silence

After her anonymity and reputation have already been compromised in the media with claims of prostitution and blackmail, the maid accusing ex-IMF chief Dominique Strauss-Kahn of sexually assaulting her has come forward in the press. Thirty-two-year-old Guinean immigrant Nafissatou Diallo granted a cover interview with Newsweek and will appear on Good Morning America and Nightline this week.

In her three-hour interview with Newsweek, Diallo, who cannot read nor write in any language, said working at the Sofitel hotel was the best job she could ever hope to have. The article noted that at some times her tears seamed forced, but overall her recount of the assault was "vivid" and "compelling" and backed up by hospital records. Here are more highlights:

On how the attack happened: "Hello? Housekeeping." Diallo looked around the living room. She was standing facing the bedroom in the small entrance hall when the naked man with white hair appeared. "Oh, my God," said Diallo. "I'm so sorry." And she turned to leave. "You don't have to be sorry," he said. But he was like "a crazy man to me." He clutched at her breasts. He slammed the door of the suite.

On the aftermath: "I watched Channel 7 and they say this is [the] guy - I don't know - and he is going to be the next president of France. And I think they are going to kill me."

On the attacks to her reputation: "Because of him they call me a prostitute," she said. "I want him to go to jail. I want him to know there are some places you cannot use your power, you cannot use your money." She said she hoped God punishes him. "We are poor, but we are good," she said. "I don't think about money."

Mila Kunis and Justin Timberlake are entering the final stretch of their promotional tour for Friends With Benefits. The pair were joined by director Will Gluck, Jenna Elfman, and Emma Stone at Monday night's Friends With Benefits premiere in NYC, but last week they were in LA to chat about disrobing in front of the cameras and favorite films at the junket. Justin also briefly shared what he has planned for the future of MySpace. Here's more:

Mila, are you a fan of Justin's music?
MK: "[I like] the way he sings "Happy Birthday."
JT: "Pretty sure you're a big fan of my original compositions."

Mila, are your parents comfortable with the sex scenes?
MK: [laughing] "They're okay with it. They've seen it, I'm still here [alive.] No, my dad saw it. You know, he liked it. He thought it was very funny. He actually thought it was sincerely very funny and that he liked the movie. Yeah no, he liked it."

Mila, do you have any interest in joining Twitter?:
MK: "I do not tweet, nor do I Facebook."
JT: "Just say no. You don't have to explain."

Justin, do you gravitate towards self deprecating humor?:
JT: "[serious]Yes, I think my life is hilarious. I should not be here, and I am. I think my life is funny."

Have either of you ever borrowed a romantic gesture from a film?:
JT: "I thought once about playing Peter Gabriel from a boom box."
MK: "That would be awesome."
JT: "Yeah?"
MK: "Yeah, you should do it."

Did you workout more knowing you'd be naked?:
MK: "I did not."
JT: "She weighed 87 lbs. from Black Swan so she was just eating cheeseburgers."
MK: "Yeah, now I'm at the gym all the time don't get me wrong."
JT: "I train mostly all the time, I think what I do is stop drinking beer and [start] eating more vegetables and less pasta."

read more. Justin, what were the sex scenes like? JT: "There's not a lot of female nudity in this movie so my physical job in those scenes was to [cover Mila] make sure. . . whatever. I found out really quick what was in Mila's contract because I was covering it up. But I think we wanted those to be funny and we shared the camaraderie in that so it kind of took the weird air out of all that and we just sort of went for it." Justin, what was it like working with Woody Harrelson? JT: "Woody is amazing, Woody's just a fantastic actor and a great comedian, but I'm actually glad you brought that up because that's a really important part of the movie for me. Will and I had a lot of discussion about it. Woody's character in a lot of ways is an original on film to be able to portray a gay male in the way that he is. Coming from my experience, I have a lot of guy friends, straight and gay, and we're all just friends regardless of sexual preference. So I wanted that to be in the movie, and so we took some chances with it." What romantic comedies did you watch to prepare for the role? MK: Pretty Woman, When Harry Met Sally. JT: Yeah, when When Harry Met Sally is probably a good one. You know Will kept referencing Spencer Tracy and Katherine Hepburn. . . I think it was only in reference in how he wanted the banter to feel. That these two were equal counterparts and that they couldn't see it and that's what makes you fall in love with their story as the movie progresses so you'll be like, 'You guys are perfect for each other, these two characters are perfect for each other' and they're fighting it and they're doing it through humor. . . We just wanted to make a comedy about our generation, we wanted to just say what was funny about our generation and I feel like we were able to do that." What was important to interject into your characters?: MK: "I think just being honest to the generation itself and not losing sight of that and not trying to please people or appease people, but just being truthful to what both Justin and myself and Will believed." JT: "My favorite movie of all time, there's a quote from it, 'Yup, life moves pretty fast if you don't stop and take a look around once in a while you could miss it.' and I think that's part of our generation . . . I think that's why I feel like this is more a generational comedy. We weren't trying to make a romantic comedy. If anything, romantic comedies are by virtue not rated R so we wanted to make a real, situational comedy that two people happen to fall in love and then see if they can work it out." Justin, can you tell us more about MySpace?: JT:"I can't tell you because that would ruin when I get to tell you about it. But suffice it to say it's going to be what it should have been."

This week, my neighbor Jamie invited me to a Real Housewives-style lunch (sans crazy drama and plastic surgery) at her house with a couple other ladies from the block. Our other neighbor Cathy offered to whip up some of her delicious egg rolls and noodles, Jamie supplied her precious Lupicia tea, and since Jamie has her hands full chasing around her adorable 10-month-old daughter, I figured I would chip in with dessert. But what to bring that would be tasty next to Cathy's delicious Chinese delectables and Jamie's wonderful tea?

One of my favorite Japanese treats is daifuku manju: sweetened mochi (rice cake) filled with an (sweet bean paste) that is intended to be eaten with tea. I used to love to stop at Benkyo-do in Japantown for a manju sampler: white mochi with red koshi-an (smooth bean paste), pink mochi with white koshi-an, green tea mochi with red tsubushi-an (chunky bean paste). Lately, I have been intrigued with how to infuse my favorite Asian flavors into traditional western pastries, and since cupcakes afford so much flexibility with ingredients and textures, they seemed like a good starting point.

Tracy Anderson Chats About Her Star Clients and Endorses the Occasional Glass of Wine

Tracy Anderson was among the famous faces who turned out for Nicole Richie's House of Harlow party at NYC's Bergdorf Goodman last night, and I was able to snag a minute with the fitness expert to chat about what she's been up to lately with her new Metamorphosis method. She divulged what she's working on with her roster of star clients, including Gwyneth Paltrow's preparations for Sunday's Grammys, and also gave a few tips on staying healthy during the Winter while allowing yourself the occasional glass of wine. She said:

FitSugar: What are you up to here in New York?
Tracy Anderson: I live in the city and in the Hamptons and in LA, so I'm really always everywhere - so it's kind of difficult to say I live anywhere. I just was at the Super Bowl and then got back maybe a few days ago! But I'm getting ready to go to LA. I just launched Metamorphosis - it just launched on television in the last few weeks. You identify your own body type, and then you get 36 custom workouts that go to you. You change every 10 days like Gwyneth and Nicole and everyone! I have to film every month 11,000 new butt-lifts every few weeks, so everyone at home can start on getting their custom program every 10 days!

FS: And you're working with Nicole! How is that going?
TA: It's going amazing, because she is an unbelievable dancer. We actually have a little surprise that we're going to release here soon . . . a little Tracy Anderson/Nicole Richie collaboration!

FS: You're also working with Ashley Greene we hear?
TA: I do train Ashley Greene! Well, I design for her and Jennifer Lopez. Right now I've got a lot.

FS: Might there be another collaboration in the works with Ashley?
TA: Maybe! I should do that with Ashley! I've got a trainer on set with her right now. Would you like that?

FS: The whole Twilight thing would be a good tie-in! Rumor has it you work with Jake Gyllenhaal as well?
TA: Jake has for a while, yeah.

A Beginner's Guide to Training For a First Race

After years of participating in the craziness from the sidelines, I recently signed up for San Francisco's most infamous (and most naked) race: the ING Bay to Breakers 12K. The 7.5-mile race crosses the entire width of San Francisco and draws thousands of participants, from serious runners to those who are decidedly not, and turns the whole city into race fans for a day.

I love that my first race will be for the 100th anniversary of one of my favorite San Francisco "holidays." And since I haven't been much of a runner lately, registering now is good motivation for me to start a dedicated routine that'll prepare me for the May race.

Before I can don a wild outfit and brave the city's hilly landscape, I need to get serious. Read on to see how I'll start training for my big day.
