How I Met Your Mother, why must you toy with my emotions?! After just seven episodes of dating seriously, Barney and Robin are broken up and tonight Barney will be back to his old ways of lovin' and leavin'. What's more annoying is that their time together hasn't been crazy in love, and their break up is such a depressing way to end any TV relationship: with Barney gaining weight and Robin letting herself go.

How I Met Your Mother has given us a fair share of teases in the past (Ted's engagement to Stella, his wedding dream in this week's episode), but this one may take the cake. The adorable Rachel Bilson is set to to make an appearance in the show's upcoming 100th episode, and apparently it may be more than a cameo.
According to Entertainment Weekly, the 100th episode will play a vital (legendary, if you will) role in Ted's meeting of his future wife.

The season premiere of How I Met Your Mother, "Definitions," made good on its promise (gleaned from my sneak peek) to show Robin and Barney as an actual couple. Alas, long-awaited relationships are rarely smooth sailing in sitcom land, and in this episode, Robin and Barney haven't yet established what they are, though the last scene was optimistic about their status. (Were you lost?

How I Met Your Mother is finally back tonight, and I can't wait to see the aftermath of last season's finale. Judging from the sneak peek photos, we can expect to see Ted in the classroom and Barney and Robin exploring the relationship life. Before we dive into season five, test your knowledge on the last couple of seasons.
