Upon taking a listen to Fergie's cover of Heart's "Barracuda" for Shrek the Third (which opens this Friday, May 18, by the way), I'm a little perplexed. Fergie definitely rocks out, but the song sounds completely the same as the original "Barracuda," so I wonder why they didn't just use that one? You can hear both versions of the song to compare for yourself, so read more

When Precious first caused rumblings at Sundance, I thought, "There is no way I'm seeing this film." There are certain things that I find uncomfortable to watch — pregnant teens, abuse, Mariah Carey. But I'm so glad I did.

Charles Dickens' classic A Christmas Carol is, quite literally, a tale as old as time. Hollywood has already turned the novel into countless films, so how do you keep it fresh to entertain old and young audiences alike? You give them a pair of 3-D glasses.

What was Gossip Girl Leighton Meester for Halloween? A rock star! The actress, who also moonlights as a singer, was invited to jump onstage Saturday night with Weezer at the Hammerstein Ballroom in NYC and duet with Rivers on the band's new single "(If You're Wondering If I Want You To) I Want You To."

Since the beginning of the Fall season, Parks and Recreation has gone from shaky midseason replacement to a solid half-hour of comedy, thanks in part to a talented and hilarious cast. Two of my favorite actors from the show, Rashida Jones and Chris Pratt, who play Leslie's best friend Ann and Ann's ex-boyfriend Andy, respectively, chatted with some reporters this week about Parks and what's in store for their characters.
- Rashida on the possibility of Ann and Andy getting back together: You know, I don't think it's an impossibility.

Wasn't this week's House incredibly satisfying? There was no sign of Thirteen — bring her back! — but House helped resurrect a man from the dead, heard voices in his head (crazy), and made goo-goo eyes at Cuddy.

As much as I heart The Office, one of my biggest gripes about the show is that there's not nearly enough Kelly Kapoor. If you're in the same boat as me, then I've got a very special Thursday treat for you! In a new string of websiodes, we'll get to follow Subtle Sexuality, the new Dunder Mifflin girl band consisting of Kelly and receptionist Erin.

The buzz about Precious has been building ever since it swept awards at this year's Sundance Film Festival. (I even put it on my list of Fall movie picks.) Now with its release around the corner and Oscar whispers beginning, I sat down with some of the stars and the director himself. The film is based on the novel, Push, which follows a pregnant sixteen-year old living with her abusive mother.
