While most of us had our attention turned to the Super Bowl this weekend, Miley Cyrus fans headed to the theaters in droves to make Disney's 3-D pic Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds Concert Tour the highest-grossing Super Bowl movie of all time.

Looks like young Mr. Efron is proving to be a bankable actor, as his movie, 17 Again, debuted at No. 1 this weekend, earning an estimated $24.1 million.
Meanwhile, Russell Crowe's political thriller, State of Play, came in second place with an estimated $14.1 million.

Hollywood is abuzz with news about more movies going 3-D. The AP reports that the massive success of the 3-D movie Hannah Montana & Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds Concert has inspired many studios to climb on board the conversion of over 10,000 movie screens across the country to support the 3D format.
ComingSoon also reports that all DreamWorks animated films will be released in 3-D from now on.

The chemistry between Kate Hudson and Matthew McConaughey proved lucrative once again as their comedy, Fool's Gold, won the top spot at the box office over the weekend, earning $22 million. Welcome Home Roscoe Jenkins, starring Martin Lawrence and Cedric the Entertainer, came in No. 2 grossing $17 million, followed by Disney's super tween 3-D concert experience Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds Concert Tour in the third spot.

As usual, box office performance has little bearing on eligibility — Transformers 2, and G.I. Joe each took home a handful of noms despite raking in the big bucks.

Color me unsurprised, but Miley Cyrus is doing relatively well as she tries to move on from Hannah Montana. She has the upcoming The Last Song, the Girls Just Want to Have Fun remake and now in the latest casting news, she's reportedly teaming up with Demi Moore to play a mother-daughter duo in a remake of the French comedy LOL: Laughing Out Loud.
The story centers around a teen who gets dumped by her boyfriend and then shifts her attention to his best friend, while her mother is handling her own romantic baggage.
