Tonight on ABC: Goodbye (For Now) to Grey's Anatomy and Ugly Betty

Friends, the time has come. Just when it felt like we got our Thursday night television back after the strike, it's ending again with tonight's season finales of both Grey's Anatomy and Ugly Betty.

In the case of Grey's, I'm kinda glad to see this season put out of its misery. The show tends to have really great runs of interesting story lines, but something tells me the writers' strike had a major impact (understandably) on the show getting its mojo back. I've said before that I just don't care about Derek's relationship with Rose because she's just . . . annoying. Hopefully tonight's episode will finally deliver and leave us wanting more.

Ugly Betty, on the other hand, did not skip a beat upon returning, and the show just gets better and better with each episode. Of course, the Gio-Betty-Henry love triangle is compelling. Not to mention the fact that Wilhelmina and Marc are back - along with Amanda - which adds up to a lot of laughs. Call me a sap, but I think the show continues to do a great job of unleashing outlandish plot lines and then reeling itself back in for some genuinely touching moments.

Tonight is a biggie as it looks like Henry returns with a big question to ask Betty, plus there are guest stars galore including Lindsay Lohan and Naomi Campbell. I'm very excited - nay, giddy! - for this one.

To check out a preview clip from each show and weigh in on which finale you're looking forward to the most,

Grey's Anatomy Rundown, "All You Need Is Love"

It's Valentine's Day in Seattle, which means the doctors are scrambling to get their romantic plans together on this week's episode of Grey's Anatomy. Callie plans a special surprise for skeptical Arizona, while Mark tries to get out of babysitting duty so he can take Julia out on a date. Derek and Meredith, on the other hand, just need to find somewhere to go for a little, uh, "alone time."

On the other end of the spectrum, Lexie is having a "woe is me" moment as she pines for Mark, and Jackson and Karev are also left dateless. No one's in hotter water than Owen is, though: he and Cristina contemplate some big questions about the future of their relationship, and Teddy has some choice words for him when Owen tries to rekindle their friendship. Ready to break it all down? Just

Everything is hunky dory in Mere/Der land now that they've got Zola back, except for one problem: they can't have sex with Zola in their bed. This shouldn't be an issue for a couple living in a huge house, but they're thwarted at every turn, often by Lexie, who seems to be staying up into the wee hours watching surgical procedures on TV. Lucky for them, they wrangle Lexie into babysitting for Valentine's Day so they can finally get it on without complication.

As for Little Grey, when she's not whining about her sad, empty life, she's blatantly pining for Mark. When Mark gets candid about his V-Day plans with Julia, Lexie tries to save face and says she has a hot date. To make matters worse, Mark and Jackson's new BFFship just puts her in an even more awkward position, both in and out of the hospital. After a sweet moment with Mark over a box of chocolates, she finally gets the courage to tell him how she feels, but Jackson's at the apartment making a romantic steak dinner for Mark in exchange for some study help. I firmly believe that these two are going to end up together, but the Grey's writers sure are making us sweat it out.

There isn't much drama for Callie and Arizona this week, other than Callie's very sweet romantic surprise. When she tells Arizona to pack warm clothes, Arizona assumes a camping trip is in store and starts panicking. It's not until she sees the interior of Derek's trailer - which Callie has borrowed for the night - that she realizes that they won't be sleeping under the stars. On a side note: why haven't Meredith and Derek thought of using the trailer for their own conveniences?

Owen and Cristina are still on shaky ground after their epic fight at Zola's birthday party, and the tension is palpable. I cringed for Cristina when Owen saves her from getting run down by the runaway van but doesn't so much as give her a hug after he pushes her out of harm's way. It seems to be a breaking point for the couple, and shortly afterwards, Owen tells a shaken Cristina he's moving out.

As if his relationship troubles aren't enough, Owen also gets an earful from Teddy. He turns to his old friend for comfort, asking Teddy if they can make amends over drinks, but Teddy is nowhere near ready to be chums again. In fact, she tells Owen that she hates him and will never forgive him for putting the hospital ahead of her needs when Henry passed away. She drives the point home by telling Owen not to address her unless it's work-related. Ouch - and for a second there, I thought maybe these two could rekindle their old flame with Cristina slowly fading out of the picture for Owen. Owen and Cristina do share a moment at the end of the episode, but do you think their relationship can ever bounce back?

Did you fall in love with this loved-up episode? Do you think it's only a matter of time before Mark breaks up with his new lady for Lexie? Let's discuss in the comments!

Buzz Blabber: The Chuck Finale Divides Fans

Popular TV shows brought mixed emotions to commenters this week. From saying goodbye to Chuck to the new episodes of Grey's Anatomy and The Vampire Diaries, we pulled together some of your reactions to get the full scoop. It's time to get caught up on the talk of the town this week!

The end of Chuck brought mixed reviews

"I am satisfied with the episode in general, but as a finale not so much. Seems more like a season finale that begs for more. I think the producers left the door open for possible other projects with Chuck. I certainly hope so. Chuck was pretty much the few show I have been watching on NBC these days. Chuck is one of few bright spots in a sea of vampire shows and comedies." - txcheng

"Nope, it sucked as a finale. Very disappointed." - Miss Senorita

"I actually really liked the finale - the second half, at least. I feel like loose ends were tied up in a way that was not final (hopefully leaving it open for a movie/comic book series/web series/SOMETHING!) - Morgan and Alex together, Casey going after Gertrude (but not until he hugged Chuck like a brother!), Ellie and Awesome leaving to start the next chapter in their lives in Chicago, and Chuck and Sarah well on their way to being together again." - limelindsey

To see more buzzed-about topics, just

Fans make predictions about the future of The Vampire Diaries

"Great episode, as usual! I hope the mother is worse than Klaus, it will bring more action to the show. He was like a little boy in front of her, a boy who just behaved and is waiting for punishment. And please dear writers, don't kill him now, I love Joseph Morgan." - shaimas

"I still think it's Tyler who's killing all those people. Didn't Klaus mention at one episode that he will kill everyone that Elena loves if he didn't get what he wanted? And he's mysteriously absent in this episode." - CiaoBella01

"I did not like the 'I forgive you' act, I hope there is more to the story regarding the original witch. Damon should have answered Elena's phone call in the woods scene. I love this show!" - fashionaza

Grey's Anatomy delights some fans but disappoints others in the alternate reality

"I wasn't expecting to like this episode as much as I did. I actually kinda loved it. I also loved the mentions of Preston Burke, Izzie and George. It was kinda implied that George still died, but was just the John Doe to everyone (since Alex said he failed the boards and then was never heard of again)." - dreamalittledream

"I was very disappointed. . ." -Brandy R.

"This episode was so trippy. That's the only thing I can think of! Cristina's hair was awful (straight hair and bangs on her face just does not look right!) Some of the pairings made sense, but Owen and Callie? That didn't make any sense to me. Bailey made sense as, if you remember, she had to learn how to speak up before Grey's started; Ellis was so strong when she was a doctor (from what we do know from flashbacks), so I imagine Bailey would have stayed the way she was (with the hair to boot.)" - ellenora

Grey's Anatomy Rundown, "Unaccompanied Minor"

Oh what a difference a year can make. It's hard to believe that this week's tame season finale of Grey's Anatomy came from the same writers that gave us the gripping shoot-out that ended in two major deaths (but at least I didn't come close to a panic attack this time around). In lieu of shocking moments and major cliffhangers, the season seven finale is all about love and loneliness. While some are coming closer together (like Lexie and Jackson), other couples and friends are seriously drifting apart.

Both Alex and Meredith have to suffer the consequences of Mere's actions with Derek's trial, while a local plane crash makes Teddy rethink a major decision. Meanwhile, Cristina learns that she's pregnant and the new chief resident is finally chosen. Ready to rehash everything that went down? Just

Derek's plans of happily building his dream house for Meredith and Zola are rudely interrupted when Owen and the Chief call him in about Alex's claims against Meredith. Meredith admits that she tampered with the trial, but refuses to admit what she did on the grounds that it will discredit the whole experiment. Karev is forced to come clean though, and the Chief eases up when he learns that Mere was trying to protect Adele. Derek isn't as kind; he tells Meredith that she doesn't know the difference between right and wrong, and even doubts her skills as a parent. Their timing couldn't be worse, as Meredith is given custody of Zola, only to bring her home to an empty house where Derek is nowhere to be found. Derek is understandably angry, but I have a feeling these two will work it out - they've been through worse, and there's no way Derek will be able to resist being a dad to adorable Zola.

Turns out Karev actually dug his own grave by ratting out Meredith. Not only does he incite a grand inquisition from Derek and Webber, but he costs himself the chief resident position. When Hunt selects Kepner as the new chief, Karev flies into a rage saying that she's not good enough. Owen snaps back saying that Karev just threw the most well-liked surgeon under the bus, and that the position was Karev's until he ratted out Mere. The truth hurts, eh Alex?

Teddy is about to catch her flight to Germany, but the big plane crash delays her plans. She tries to spend some last-minute time with Henry, but by her second goodbye, he's had enough. Henry ditches the sarcastic comments and jokes and tells Teddy that he's tired of playing her BFF because he's in love with her. I couldn't have internally cheered louder for him when he finally mans up - I've been waiting for this moment since the minute he arrived at Seattle Grace. Thankfully, his confessions don't fall on deaf ears this time, and Teddy finally gives him the kiss he's been waiting for. To boot, she tells him that she's falling in love with him! Fireworks and high-fives all around!

It's been a long season of baby drama, and now Cristina and Owen are in on the game. Predictably, they don't share the same opinion when Cristina learns she's pregnant - Owen wants to start a family and Cristina is not interested in being a mother. Despite a lot of back and forth, Cristina decides on her own that she's having an abortion. Owen makes one last plea for her to reconsider, but when she puts her foot down, he kicks her out. With nowhere else to go, she heads to Meredith's house. Now the real question is whether or not a few days with Zola will be enough to make Cristina reconsider. I'm not the biggest Owen and Cristina fan in the world, but I'd love to see Cristina as a mother.

The Mark and Lexie will-they-or-won't-they show may finally be over. Mark decides to officially give Lexie over to Jackson (which, I must agree with Lexie, is totally paternalistic), saying that Jackson better take care of her. Though Jackson kind of scoffs at Mark's olive branch, he relays the message to Lexie, who's less than thrilled to hear the news. She and Mark come face to face once again about the issue, and though Lexie says she still loves him, Jackson is the one to make her happy. Mark concedes and lets her go, but can't help but point out that she's the one who's having trouble walking away. A lot of couples have come and gone on Grey's, but I can't help it if I'll always hope for these two to get back together - though Jackson isn't a bad second choice.

How did you feel about the episode? Were you expecting more jaw-dropping moments? Are you as excited about Teddy and Henry as I am? Let's get chatting!

Chyler Leigh: The Grey's Anatomy Finale Is "Not Going to Be Like Last Season"

We're closing in on the home stretch of another season of Grey's Anatomy, but there's still plenty of excitement in store before Summer hiatus. Most notably is the upcoming musical event, where we'll get to hear our favorite surgeons belting out some of the show's most iconic songs from seasons past. I chatted this week with Chyler Leigh (aka Lexie) about how fun and nerve-wracking it was for her to film the episode, which airs on March 31. She also dished on Lexie's new relationship with Jackson and gave us a hint at what we can expect from the season finale.

BuzzSugar: What was your first reaction when you heard about the musical episode?
Chyler Leigh: Honestly, I thought it was a joke. It was kind of like our long-running joke that we had over the past few seasons, "Oh, yeah, when Grey's does a musical episode. . . it's gonna be us singing and dancing down the hall on gurneys..." I wasn't present at the table read where Shonda made the announcement that we were going to be doing it, so when everybody kind of approached me about it, saying "Hey, so what do you think about this whole thing?" I was kind of like, "Ha ha ha, that's funny, what are you talking about?" And they were like "No, seriously, we're actually doing it." I was like "What?!" It was a bit shocking at first. Shonda asked everybody, "Hey who's willing to sing? Who wants to try out? Who wants to for it?" and quite a few people raised their hands pretty emphatically that they were excited to do something like that. Several didn't, they didn't want to. But the majority of us actually did say "You know what? Let's just take the journey, take the ride, and see what happens." And we had a blast.

Buzz: Did you have any previous singing experience?
CL: No, not before this episode. I sang a couple lines when we did a group song in Not Another Teen Movie, but it was nothing like this. I never took lessons before this. It was a brand-new experience for me, but it was something that I was really excited about doing. Nervous at the same time, because I love singing, and my husband knows I sing, some close friends do as well, but I'd never really sung in front of a group of people, or to have it on a soundtrack or anything like that. It was definitely nerve-wracking at first. But I just decided, "You know what? How often are we going to get an opportunity and an experience like this? Just suck it up and go for it." And I did, and we all had so much fun doing it. It was hard work, but we had a lot of fun.

Buzz: Do you have a new found respect for the cast of Glee?
CL: Yes, absolutely. I can't imagine the amount of rehearsals that it involves. Kudos to them. Big props for sure.

To find out what song Chyler will sing in the episode, plus where Lexie and Jackson's relationship is headed, just

Buzz: Will there be dancing in addition to the singing?
CL: No, there's no dancing. Some of the songs you'll see us singing on camera, not necessarily directly to camera but you'll see some of it, and then some of it you'll just hear underneath a scene.

Buzz: Did you have any say in which song you'd be singing?
CL: I got to sing "Breathe (2AM)" by Anna Nalick, and then Sarah Drew and I sang the chorus while Sara [Ramirez] sang the verse on the song "Grace." Such a beautiful song. There's "Chasing Cars," "How to Save a Life." There's a lot of really great songs that the majority of us got to sing together. We had a lot of laughs while doing it.

Buzz: Let's talk about Lexie and Jackson. Will this relationship be more than a fling?
CL: Oh, for sure. In true Grey's style, it would be doing ourselves a disservice if we didn't stretch it out as much as possible. It's definitely something where the relationship between Lexie and Jackson is something that is, in a sense, refreshing, and is something that is new and exciting and doesn't necessarily have to be as heavy and as intense as the relationship between Lexie and Mark had gotten to. Lexie and Jackson are in the same place in their lives, they want the same things, they're pretty much in the same place in their career. They're good for one another. And there's so many reasons why it should definitely work out really well for the two of them. But at the same time, there is a history and there's a past and there is an undeniable love between Lexie and Mark. It's hard to squash something like that when it's grown so big. But at the same time, how many devastations can you go through? And do you have the strength to make it work? I think through the rest of the season and probably stretching into next season we'll have to see which way she goes.

If you were choosing for her, which guy would you choose?
CL: Oh that's such a hard question to answer. I'd say, screw it, take 'em both! Why not?

Do you find that you have better chemistry with Eric [Dane] or with Jesse [Williams]?
CL: Well, again, that's a really hard question to answer, just because the dynamic between me and Eric and me and Jesse is so different. They're both such wonderful people. Jesse and I definitely get into trouble a lot more together, because we're usually making each other laugh or terrorizing one another, and we get in trouble for laughing and making too much noise. And so there is that dynamic, he and I have a very similar sense of humor, so that does come into play a lot. We're kind of like the troublesome twosome.

Buzz: Are you afraid of reading the script for the season finale after last year's intense finale?
CL: From what we've been told, and I genuinely do not know the storylines of what's happening in the finale, it's not going to be like last season. I don't think it's going to be as intense and traumatic as last season, by any means. I think it's going to be more a personal devastation than an actual physical one.

Grey's Anatomy Rundown, "This Magic Moment"

This week's episode of Grey's Anatomy picks up two weeks after the most recent episode, and a lot can happen in 14 days for some doctors. Meredith and Derek are settling into their life as full-time parents with Zola, and Bailey and Ben are back together in a big way. On the other hand, Teddy still hasn't come to terms with Henry's death, and Cristina is still suffering for it.

It's a very typical Grey's episode: a major surgery that's affecting all of the doctors (this time, it's conjoined twins), mixed in with some drama and a little bit of plot development. No major game-changers, but it's still a solid episode. Let's break it down when you

Could Meredith and Derek be any cuter with Zola? They're the epitome of happy new parents now that they've got Zola back. They're all about baby talk and home videos, and Meredith even lets Zola observe her very first surgery. After all the strife that Mere and Der went through during the first half of the season, it's so fun to see them all smiles and genuinely happy with their little girl.

Not only are Ben and Bailey back in action, but Ben is also ready to take things to the next level. Bailey balks when Ben asks her to move in with him and is so panicked that she uses Meredith to deflect the subject while the three of them are in the OR. Ben doesn't let up, though, and Bailey becomes so preoccupied that she makes a mistake - right in the middle of a speech about how she never trips up. It's obvious that Ben has a hold on Bailey, and she eventually admits that she's worried the relationship will "blow up" if it moves too quickly. Ben reassures her with some very sweet words about her son, Tuck, and Bailey starts to warm up to the idea.

Teddy's still processing Henry's death, or not processing it in this case. She constantly pages Cristina, forcing her to recite Henry's fatal surgery, step by step. Everyone else thinks she's being unfair, but Cristina assures her colleagues that she can handle it. The same can't be said for April, who breaks down listening to Cristina going through her procedure for the umpteenth time. Luckily, Cristina finally gets through to Teddy, who comes to terms with the fact that Cristina did everything she could.

Mark's girlfriend continues to rack up the brownie points, and it's clear that it's important to Mark to get the approval of Derek and Meredith. All the talk about Julia just continues to be torturous for Lexie, though, who clearly just wants to get back together with Mark. How sad is the moment at the end of the episode when Lexie thinks Mark is talking to her but he's really on the phone with Julia?

Arizona's controlling behavior during the conjoined twins procedure gets Karev all riled up, which gives Webber an opportunity to swoop in and steal Karev's spot right out from under him. Alex is understandably angry and spends most of the episode moaning and groaning about Webber being a shark. Once the surgery is over, Webber admits that his actions were wrong and confides that he's scared of growing old and being demoted to two minor surgeries a week. Feeling guilty, Karev hands over another surgery to Webber - and Webber immediately starts trash talking Karev for being a pushover. Even though Webber plays the tough act, I think there was a lot of truth to his speech about his fear of getting older.

What'd you think of this week's episode? Chime in in the comments!

Grey's Anatomy Rundown, "Suddenly"

Grey's Anatomy left us in the lurch before hiatus, what with Henry's shocking death and Meredith and Karev getting into a car accident. This week, we finally experience the aftermath, in an episode that's unsettling and emotional, with one glimmer of hope that comes in at the end.

The hardest part of the episode is watching Teddy continue on with her surgery, and being the only doctor who still thinks Henry is alive. It makes the moment when she hears the news all the more heart-breaking (and Kim Raver turns in an excellent performance). Let's break it all down when you

The good news for Meredith and Karev is that they're mostly unharmed in the car accident. The bad news is that the same can't be said for a family that's now spilled out into the road. Throughout the episode, Meredith bonds with the family's eldest daughter, and we watch her coming-of-age as she witnesses her parents' deaths and takes the reins as the head of the family.

Owen is adamant about keeping Teddy in the dark about Henry so that she can finish her surgery. Poor Cristina really gets the brunt of the work when Teddy demands that she help her with the surgery. Though she initially says no, Cristina manages to keep it together and deflect Teddy's comments about Henry (sometimes at April's expense). To make things even more dramatic, Teddy is whooping and dancing around the OR while Cristina is just trying to keep a brave face on. As soon as their work is done, Cristina breaks the news to Teddy, who is obviously devastated.

Mark and his new lady friend are still going strong, and Lexie's dismay is thinly veiled. Derek is skeptical when Mark wants to call her in to help with a surgery, but he quickly changes his mind when he sees how skilled she is. Postsurgery, Derek even calls her a "keeper" with Lexie in earshot. The icing on the cake is that she and Lexie share a moment after the procedure and Lexie realizes that she's warming up to Mark's new flame. All that said, I've been waiting forever for these two to get back together, and I don't see Lexie going down without a fight.

Bailey and Ben are moving closer to rekindling their relationship, with the only kind of flirting Bailey knows: being sassy. She softens at the end of the episode, though, telling Ben she doesn't need quite as much "space" as she did before. I'm rooting for this coupling; you?

Just when I stopped wondering if we'd ever see Zola again, Derek and Meredith get a very welcome surprise: their baby is back! The social worker assures them that Zola is theirs for good, which means no more legal drama and just seeing these two as parents. Color me excited.

How'd you feel about the episode? Did your heart go out to Teddy? Leave your thoughts in the comments!

Grey's Anatomy Rundown, "Dark Was the Night"

It's a critical time for our favorite doctors this week on Grey's Anatomy, as more than one cast member faces a life-threatening situation. In the last episode we left Henry coughing up blood, and this week his fate is in the hands of Seattle Grace's finest, but you may be surprised to find out who performs Henry's surgery. Meanwhile, Callie and Jackson's careers are on the line, as Teddy tries to save their patient after post-surgery complications.

After several weeks of waiting, Meredith and Derek finally get word about Zola, and sadly, it looks like the results are not in their favor. However, this story line is completely overshadowed by all the heartbreaking events that lead to more than one surprising death. It's a tear-jerking, emotional roller coaster of an episode that left me at the edge of my seat. Were you along for the ride? Let's break it down!

Grey's Anatomy Rundown, "Heart-Shaped Box"

The doctors of Seattle Grace take a stroll down memory lane this week on Grey's Anatomy when George O'Malley's mother, Louise, returns as a patient. While it's been awhile since George's mere name was uttered through the hospital halls, as Alex so insensitively points out, her presence brings forth tender memories that most of the doctors would rather not think about.

A miracle also arrives in the form of a box - a pumping heart in a box, to be exact. The live organ is harvested for transplant but becomes sort of a career whisperer for Cristina and Jackson. With Mama O'Malley back in the mix and the powers of the heart in the box, I thought this episode lightly tugged on the heartstrings but could have been way more emotional. Though, I really loved how Callie "came out" to her ex-mother-in-law. Ready to break it down?
