The stars of
Gossip Girl were dressed for Winter to film around NYC yesterday. Blake Lively kept Penny warm under her coat as usual and Leighton Meester bundled up in Uggs before changing into heels for the camera. While Blair Waldorf isn't one for tennis shoes, in real life Leighton and Ed Westwick are both
promoting sneaker lines.

Welcome back to my
Buzz Gift Guide series for all the entertainment lovers in your life. We're talking kids and teens this week, and since we've
covered the boys already, today it's all about the teen girls.
Teenage girls (I know because I was one) can be hard to shop for since the age lends itself to phases.

On screen, the steamy duo of
Gossip Girl are dressed to the nines in designer duds but in their spare time, the two are busy promoting sneakers. Random.
According to sources, Meester inked a deal with Reebok to be the face of their ad campaign while Westwick recently signed on with K-Swiss —
love it or leave it?

On this week's
Gossip Girl there aren't things like murders or drug overdoses, which I was hoping for kind of expecting given the show's history. In fact, it seems like everyone puts aside their differences for one day in the spirit of Thanksgiving despite the fact that Gossip Girl hinted there would be "lying, manipulation, and betrayal" on the Upper East Side.
The entire cast is present in this episode, too, and it seems like all loose ends from the past couple of episodes have been tied up, while the seeds for future intrigue are definitely sown.

Some of the
Gossip Girl cast was hard at work as usual on the set in NYC yesterday. Last night was Thanksgiving time for our favorite Upper East Siders, which
brought with it drama as usual, as well as some heart warming moments and festive holiday attire —
get the looks from the episode here. The hour wrapped itself up nicely while setting up for the next big plot shocker, while keeping us on our toes with the
fashion,
beauty, and
gadgets.

Thanksgiving on
Gossip Girl means
Autumnal tones of browns, reds, and oranges. Check out how Vanessa showed off her holiday cheer in an array of colors and prints. The Brooklynite's expert layering skills are something to note.

A couple really loose ends,
and big plots, got resolved in this
Turkey Day episode of
Gossip Girl. Whew! While I love the drama, sometimes it can be exhausting and I get antsy for new fireworks.
Gossip Style: Serena van der Woodsen This ensemble is quite a dynamic change from what Serena wears to school earlier in the episode. For her more dressed-up look, Serena pairs a Porter Grey top (get the next best thing from See by Chloe) with a mustard-colored skirt and accessorizes with a necklace by Stephen Dweck. All this and a pair of Boutique 9 pumps.

Thanksgiving may come early for our Upper East Siders, but that doesn't mean they missed out on any of the holiday's drama. From surprise guests to surprise endings, and things flipping and flopping each week, I can't get enough. Were you too mesmerized by the banter to peep the beauty?

Nobody does Thanksgiving quite like
Gossip Girl. Last year's
touching Thanksgiving episode included lots of flashbacks to a drunken Bad Serena and a really intriguing look at Blair and her various issues with eating and control. It'll be interesting to see where everyone ends up one year later when we check in with our Upper East Siders for a holiday feast tonight.
